Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, nu onderkomen voor asielzoekers. Het pand is in het westelijk gedeelte van het complex gelegen ten zuiden van de weg, tussen de nummers 51 en 56 in. De lengte-as van de gevel loopt oost-west. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Groot gebouwentype met gevels in schoon metselwerk, een zadeldak gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen, goot op houten klossen, twee dakkapellen met zinken schilddak in elk van de lange gevels, twee gemetselde schoorstenen, een iets terugliggende ingang links in de noordzijde. De meeste vensters zijn nog origineel en hebben ramen met een tienruits roedenverdeling; ook de vleugeldeur deur is nog origineel. Aan de westzijde is een brandtrap met deur op de verdieping aangebracht. Waardering. Het pand is van algemeen belang.
Het pand heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een landschappelijke en bestuurlijke ontwikkeling.
