Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, nu onderkomen voor asielzoekers.
Het pand is het westelijk deel van het complex gelegen tussen de nummers 53 en 56. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Middelgroot gebouwentype op rechthoekige grondslag met gevels in schoon metselwerk, topgevels met vlechtingen, een zadeldak gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen, een centraal in de lange gevel gelegen, licht getoogde ingang met gemetseld laag trapje, aan elke lange zijde een dakkapel onder een zinken schilddakje, twee gemetselde schoorstenen, aanzetstenen van tuf. Op een vergroot exemplaar in de rechter zijgevel na, zijn vrijwel alle vensters nog in de originele staat. Ook de deur is nog origineel.

Medium-sized building type on a rectangular footprint with façades in fair-faced brickwork, stepped gables with weaving, a gabled roof covered with improved Dutch tiles, a lightly arched entrance located centrally in the long façade with a brick low step, a roof dormer with a zinc hipped roof on each long side, two brick chimneys, cornerstone of tuff. With the exception of an enlarged example in the right side façade, virtually all windows are still in the original condition. The door is also still original.
