Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, nu in gebruik als telecommunicatiegebouw bij het ministerie van Defensie. Het met een hekwerk omheinde pand is tegenover nummer 47 aan de noordzijde van de weg gelegen en heeft de lengte-as haaks daarop. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Groot gebouwentype op rechthoekige grondslag met gevels in schoon metselwerk, topgevels met vlechtingen, een zadeldak gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen, aan de zuidelijke zijde een centraal in de korte gevel gelegen, licht getoogde, ingang met een laag gemetseld trapje, stalen deuren, recht gesloten, getraliede vensters, dakkapellen met zinken schilddak en vier gemetselde schoorstenen. De vensters in de lange gevels zijn nog grotendeels origineel. De vensters aan de kant van de ingang zijn iets vergroot. Het pand is voorzien van een ketelhok met aparte ingang.

The windows in the long facades are still largely original. The windows on the entrance side are slightly enlarged. The building has a boiler house with separate entrance.
