De POORT voor de aan de noordelijke zijde van het kazerneterrein gelegen hoofdingang werd opgetrokken tussen 1915 en 1917, tezamen met de overige kazernegebouwen op het terrein.

De poort bestaat uit twee lage, gebogen bakstenen muurtjes, eindigend in twee massieve bakstenen hekpalen met schampblokken aan de binnenzijde. Deze hekpalen hebben aan de onderzijde een bredere natuurstenen basis en worden bekroond door tufstenen blokken met kanteelachtige elementen. Hiertussen een smeedijzeren hek. Aan de bovenzijde van dit hek op een ijzeren plaat in witte letters "Isabella Kazerne" geschilderd.
Waardering
De poort voor de hoofdingang van de Isabellakazerne is van algemeen belang. De poort heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzonder overblijfsel van de vroeg twintigste-eeuwse militaire infrastructuur in Noord-Brabant en als bijzondere uitdrukking van een typologische ontwikkeling. De poort bezit ensemblewaarde als essentieel onderdeel van een groter geheel, dat cultuurhistorisch van belang is. Tot slot is de poort van belang vanwege de gaafheid.

The gate consists of two low, curved brick walls, ending in two massive brick gate piers with bevelled blocks on the inner side. These gate piers have a broader natural stone base at the bottom and are crowned by tufa stone blocks with crenellated elements. Between them a wrought iron gate. At the top of this gate on an iron plate in white letters "Isabella Kazerne" painted.

The gate for the main entrance of the Isabella Kazerne is of general importance. The gate has cultural-historical value as a particular remnant of early twentieth-century military infrastructure in Noord-Brabant and as a particular expression of a typological development.
