Inleiding
Ten zuiden van de voormalige boswachterswoning annex boerderij Rijntjesdijk 3 staat op het erf een bijbehorend KARSCHOP, daterende uit omstreeks 1910.
Omschrijving
Het karschop heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en een eenvoudig houten gebint en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met pannen.
Waardering
Het karschop is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als herinnering aan de rol van de familie Wiegersma in de culturele ontwikkeling van het Peelgebied en is een goed voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het ontginningsgebied van de Peel. Het geheel is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het ex- en interieur en is als kleine familiebegraafplaats met aangehorigheden zeldzaam.
