Inleiding
Half vrijstaande PASTORIE uit 1862, behorende bij het kerkelijk complex van de Oud-Katholieke gemeente "'t Huis te Poort".
Omschrijving
De pastorie is opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond en omvat twee bouwlagen en een kapverdieping onder een zadeldak met schilddak aan de voorzijde. De voorgevel heeft een lijstgevel en is gepleisterd en voorzien van blokwerk.
De voorgevel is drie vensterassen breed en voorzien van hoogopgaande rondboogvensters, hoeklisenen, cordonlijsten en friezen. Alle vensters zijn voorzien van zesruitsramen en bovenlicht met straalroedenverdeling. De vensters zijn opgenomen in geprofileerde rondboognissen die op de plint c.q. de cordonlijst rusten en zijn voorzien van borstweringen.
De begane grond bevat geheel links de entreepartij die conform de vensters is bekroond met bovenlicht met straalroedenverdeling en gevat in een geprofileerde rondboog omlijsting. De hoeklisenen zijn conform de hoeklisenen van de kerk voorzien van rondboog spaarvelden. Een rondboogfries en een fries met paneelindeling waarin cirkelvormig snijwerk is aangebracht boven de middelste muurdammen en een sterk uitkragende geprofileerde kroonlijst beeindigen de gevel.
De zijgevel is uitgevoerd in schoon metselwerk, voorzien van zesruits schuifvensters. De achtergevel is uitgevoerd als tuitgevel. Op de begane grond bevindt zich in het midden een deurpartij met aan weerszijden vensters met een zesruitsindeling. Op de verdieping zijn drie zesruitsvensters en in de geveltop twee vensters met vaste middenstijl en openslaande ramen.
In het interieur zijn onder meer van belang de originele marmeren vloeren op de begane grond, het trappenhuis met paneeldeuren, en de originele gestucte reliëfplafonds op de verdieping.

Pastorie, deel uitmakend van het kerkelijk complex van de Oud-Katholieke gemeente "'t Huis te Poort", gebouwd in 1862 in Waterstaatsstijl, van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische, beeldbepalende en ensemblewaarde. Description
The parsonage is constructed on a rectangular plan and comprises two storeys and an attic storey under a gabled roof with a hipped roof at the front. The front facade has a cornice-topped facade and is plastered and provided with ashlar.
The front facade is three window bays wide and provided with high-reaching round-arched windows, corner pilasters, string courses and friezes. All windows are provided with six-pane windows and fanlights with radial glazing bars. The windows are set within moulded round-arched recesses that rest on the plinth or the string course and are provided with parapets.
The ground floor contains on the far left the entrance section which, in accordance with the windows, is crowned with a fanlight with radial glazing bars and set within a moulded round-arched frame. The corner pilasters are provided, in accordance with the corner pilasters of the church, with round-arched spandrels. A round-arched frieze and a frieze with panel division in which circular carved work is applied above the middle wall piers and a strongly projecting moulded cornice terminate the facade.
The side facade is executed in fair-faced brickwork, provided with six-pane sash windows. The rear facade is executed as a spout gavel. On the ground floor there is in the centre a door section with windows on either side having a six-pane arrangement. On the first floor there are three six-pane windows and in the gable top two windows with fixed centre mullion and opening sashes.
In the interior, notably important are the original marble floors on the ground floor, the stairwell with panelled doors, and the original stuccoed relief ceilings on the first floor.

Parsonage, forming part of the ecclesiastical complex of the Old Catholic congregation "'t Huis te Poort", built in 1862 in Public Works style, of general importance on account of its cultural-historical, architectural-historical, character-determining and ensemble value. The parsonage is moreover of importance within the oeuvre of the Schiedam architects M. van Erkel and J. Vormer.
