KANTOORGEBOUW met rechts aangebouwd voormalig EXPEDITIEGEBOUW behorende bij het distilleerderijcomplex De Kuyper uit 1910-1911.
Omschrijving
Het kantoorgebouw met rechts aangebouwd expeditiegebouw is opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond boven een rustica plint in rood en geel metselwerk in kruisverband. Het pand telt twee bouwlagen onder een plat dak, dat boven de voorgevel is voorzien van opgemetselde hoekpenanten. In de bredere rechter hoekpenant is een tegeltableau met het bouwjaar 1911 aangebracht. De voorgevel heeft in beide bouwlagen twee vensterstroken van drie vensters met daartussen een enkel venster en geheel rechts een enkel venster. De drie driedelige schuiframen bevatten schuiframen met glas-in-lood bovenlichten. De vensters van de verdieping zijn getoogd. Aan weerszijden van het middelste venster op de verdieping bevinden zich smalle rondboog blindnissen. In de tweede bouwlaag zijn onder de middelste vensters van de vensterstroken hardstenen gevelornamenten aangebracht. De gevel wordt afgesloten met een overstekende houten geprofileerde bakgoot op gootklossen. De hoofdentree bevindt zich in de gevel van het voormalige expeditiegebouw rechts van het kantoor. Een zijentree is gesitueerd in de noordwestelijke zijgevel aan de fabrieksstraat. Ter weerszijden van de zijentree een breed en een smal venster met segmentboog. Op de etage drie vensters. Het expeditiegebouw rechts heeft een zadeldak waarvan de nokas haaks op de Buitenhavenweg georiënteerd is. De topgevel is aan de onderzijde met de belendende gevels verbonden door middel van gemetseld 'traliewerk' en is symmetrisch ingedeeld met in het midden een grote inrijpoort met rondboog bovenlicht met roedeverdeling. Links in de gevel de entree van het kantoor, met fraaie houten eenruits paneeldeur voorzien van siersmeedwerk. De entree is geplaatst in een getrapt spaarveld en wordt bekroond met een cartouche waarop een anker, een van de symbolen van De Kuyper. Rechts in de gevel een getoogd venster.
In het interieur zijn onder meer van belang de originele betimmeringen en trap. De entree aan de Buitenhavenweg geeft toegang tot een portaal met een loket naar het kantoor links. Door een centraal vierkant ingedeeld dakraam treedt daglicht binnen. De gang is bedekt met vloertegels met plantmotieven. Via dubbele klapdeuren met ramen en sober maar sierlijk glooiend lijnverloop, geeft de hal rechts toegang tot de toiletten en links enerzijds tot deuren die naar de achter het kantoor gelegen administratie en laboratoria leiden. Boven deze paneeldeuren zijn achttienruits glas-in-loodvensters in de wand geplaatst. Links van de gang bevinden zich wederom loketten naar het kantoor waar eertijds loon aan de werknemers werd uitbetaald. Deze loketten hebben houten kozijnen en een geslepen glaspaneel met het anker en de naam van het bedrijf. Via een tweede dubbele glazen klapdeur met erboven siersnijwerk en een nieuw geslepen venster, loopt de gang met een knik verder naar de entree aan de fabriekstraat. In dit deel geeft een houten spiltrap met bewerkt houten leuning toegang tot de geheel verbouwde kantoorruimte op de etage. Tegenover de trap bevindt zich het directeurskantoor, in vrijwel originele staat. De rechthoekige kamer heeft een half open houten balkenlaag, met moerbalken die in de muren eindigen met sleutelstukken met leeuwenkoppen. Verder een gekorniste plafondlijst, houten paneellambrisering en deurkozijnen met hoofdgestellen. In de bovenlichten van de schuifvensters in de voorgevel glas-in-lood voorzien van cartouches met de symbolen van De Kuyper: anker, hart en de fles Geneva. Aan weerszijden van de kozijnen zijn houten pilasters aangebracht. Onder de vensters bevinden zich verwarmingskasten.

Description
The office building with adjoining dispatch building is erected on a rectangular ground plan above a rustic plinth in red and yellow brickwork in cross bond. The building has two storeys under a flat roof, which above the front facade is provided with built-up corner pilasters. In the broader right corner pilaster is a tile tableau with the construction year 1911. The front facade has in both storeys two window strips of three windows with between them a single window and far right a single window. The three tripartite sash windows contain sash windows with glazed and leaded fanlights. The windows of the upper floor are arched. On either side of the middle window on the upper floor are narrow round-arch blind recesses. In the second storey beneath the middle windows of the window strips are hardstone facade ornaments installed. The facade is terminated with an overhanging wooden profiled gutter on gutter brackets. The main entrance is located in the facade of the former dispatch building to the right of the office. A side entrance is situated in the north-western side facade on the factory street. The rectangular room has a half-open wooden beam ceiling, with tie beams that end in the walls with keystones with lion's heads. Furthermore a corniced ceiling cornice, wooden panelled wainscoting and door frames with head pieces. In the fanlights of the sash windows in the front facade glazed and leaded windows provided with cartouches with the symbols of De Kuyper: anchor, heart and the Geneva bottle. On either side of the frames are wooden pilasters installed. Below the windows are heating boxes.
