Inleiding
BEDRIJFSRUIMTEN aaneengesloten gesitueerd aan weerszijden van een geknikt verlopende FABRIEKSSTRAAT, onderdeel van distilleerderijcomplex De Kuyper uit 1910-1911.
Omschrijving
De fabrieksstraat wordt aan de Buitenhavenweg afgesloten door een vernieuwd hekwerk en een oorspronkelijke portiersloge. Aan de noordzijde van de fabrieksstraat bevinden zich vier werkplaatsen met puntgevels en zadeldaken met de nokas haaks op de straat, vervolgens een eenlaags plat afgedekt volume (voormalig fustengebouwtje) en een hoog volume (voormalig ketelhuis) onder een zadeldak, en tenslotte een langwerpig tweelaags plat afgedekt volume, de voormalige kuiperij. De bedrijfsgebouwen zuidoostelijk van de straat bevinden zich direct achter het kantoor en de naastgelegen werkplaats. De zijgevel met zijentree van het kantoor, de langsgevel van de bottelarij en het laboratorium, een volume onder zadeldak en een volume met vier evenwijdig aan de straat verlopende sheddaken. Daarachter het pakhuis waarvan alleen de gevel aan de fabrieksstraat nog oorspronkelijk is. De gevels van de bedrijfsgebouwen zijn gemetseld in rode en gele baksteen, geleed door lisenen en spaarvelden met trapfriezen, ingedeeld met enkele en dubbele houten openslaande deuren en samengestelde meerruits vensters en segmentboogvormige bovenlichten. De kopgevel wordt vrijwel geheel ingenomen door een spaarvlak met trapvormig fries waarin een groot venster met segmentboog opgebouwd uit zes vensterdelen. Aan weerszijden van deze vensterpartij zijn langwerpige vensters aangebracht. In de vier werkplaatsen links van de straat, nog altijd in gebruik als distilleerderij, zijn de originele ijzeren V-spanten aanwezig en staat nog een tweeling-ketel. In de bottelarij is de hoofdstructuur met betonkolommen en daken nog aanwezig, evenals in de kuiperij. Aan de gevel van het ketelhuis bevindt zich een ronde ijzeren klok met een gekorniste concave kast opgehangen aan een smeedijzeren geheng. In het interieur van het ketelhuis zijn de wanden bekleed met de oorspronkelijke, witgeglazuurde tegels met groene bovenrand.

Description
The factory street is closed off on the Buitenhavenweg side by renewed fencing and an original gatekeeper's lodge. On the north side of the factory street are four workshops with pointed gables and gabled roofs with the ridge perpendicular to the street, followed by a single-storey flat-roofed volume (former cooper's building) and a high volume (former boiler house) beneath a gabled roof, and finally an elongated two-storey flat-roofed volume, the former cooperage. The business buildings to the southeast of the street are located directly behind the office and the adjacent workshop. The side gable with side entrance of the office, the side wall of the bottlery and the laboratory, a volume beneath a gabled roof and a volume with four sheds roofs running parallel to the street. Behind it the warehouse of which only the gable facing the factory street is still original. The façades of the business buildings are built in red and yellow brick, articulated by lesenes and spandrels with step friezes, arranged with single and double wooden casement doors and composite multi-light windows and segment-arched fanlights. The end gable is occupied almost entirely by a spandrel with stepped frieze in which a large segment-arched window built up from six window divisions. On either side of this window arrangement elongated windows are arranged. In the four workshops on the left of the street, still used as a distillery, the original iron V-trusses are present and a twin kettle still stands. In the bottlery the main structure with concrete columns and roofs is still present, as is in the cooperage. On the façade of the boiler house a round iron bell with a corniced concave housing is hung from a wrought-iron support. In the interior of the boiler house the walls are lined with the original, white-glazed tiles with green upper edge.
