Inleiding
Het aan de gracht gesitueerde pand Voorstraat 92 is een voormalig STALGEBOUW (XIXA) met gepleisterde lijstgevel dat onderdeel uitmaakt van het complex ZEEPFABRIEK "Bousquet".
Het pand ligt in het beschermde stadsgezicht van Delft.
Omschrijving
In het pand Voorstraat 92 zijn twee toegangen opgenomen, een bedrijfstoegang en een kantoortoegang. Achter de voorgevel bevindt zich een zeer diep pand, van origine mogelijk zestiende of zeventiende-eeuws, bestaande uit één hoge bouwlaag, met een balklaag die rust op consoles met Renaissance-decoratie. Het pand vormt de doorgang naar het achterterrein en geeft tevens toegang tot bedrijfsruimten, die achter Voorstraat 90 zijn gesitueerd. Voorstaat 92 sluit aan op een laat-negentiende eeuws bedrijfspand van twee bouwlagen, grenzend aan het binnenterrein.
De lijstgevel aan de voorzijde is opgebouwd uit twee bouwlagen, waarachter echter een pand van één bouwlaag met schildak is gesitueerd. Het dak is deels gedekt met gesmoorde, deels met rode Hollandse pannen. De in twee traveeën opgedeelde gevel wordt verlevendigd door wit geschilderd pleisterwerk. Uitzondering hierop vormt de hardstenen omlijsting van de brede poort. In de omlijsting is een rusticamotief aangebracht. De sluitsteen in de segmentvormige boog is voorzien van een een hoefijzer. Rechts naast de omlijsting bevindt zich een smallere toegang tot het kantoor. Deze deur en de poort zijn voorzien van bovenlichten met boog- en radiale roedenverdeling. In de tweede bouwlaag, die van de eerste gescheiden is door een hardstenen cordonlijst, staan twee rechtgesloten vensters met zesruits schuiframen onder drieruits bovenlichten. Elk raamoppervlak is verdeeld in negen glas-in-loodruitjes.
Waardering
Voorstraat 92 is als onderdeel van het complex Zeepfabriek Bousquet van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en stedenbouwkundige waarde.
Het complexonderdeel is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een industriële ontwikkeling, namelijk zeepfabriek binnen een stedelijke kern, waarbij de veranderingen die het produktieproces de afgelopen twee eeuwen onderging afleesbaar zijn in het gebouw.

The property Voorstraat 92 contains two entrances, a business entrance and an office entrance. Behind the front facade is a very deep property, originally possibly from the sixteenth or seventeenth century, consisting of one tall storey, with a beam layer resting on consoles with Renaissance decoration. The property forms the passage to the rear grounds and also provides access to business premises, which are situated behind Voorstraat 90. Voorstraat 92 adjoins a late nineteenth-century business property of two storeys, bordering the interior grounds.
The cornice-topped facade at the front is composed of two storeys, behind which, however, a property of one storey with a hipped roof is situated. The roof is partly covered with Dutch tiles and partly with red Dutch tiles. The facade, divided into two bays, is enlivened by white-painted plasterwork. An exception to this is the hard stone surround of the broad gate. In the surround a rustica motif has been applied. The keystone in the segmental arch is provided with a horseshoe. To the right of the surround is a narrower office entrance. This door and the gate are provided with fanlights with arched and radial glazing bars. In the second storey, which is separated from the first by a hard stone cordon moulding, stand two right-angled windows with six-light sash windows under three-light fanlights. Each window area is divided into nine leaded glass panes.
