Inleiding
Het BAKHUIS behorende tot boerderijcomplex aan de Kromme Elleboog 1 te Binnenmaas dateert waarschijnlijk uit de eerste helft van de negentiende eeuw. Het kent een uiterst sobere vormgeving in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant en is in redelijke staat. Het bakhuisje bevindt zich ter linker zijde van het woonhuis.
Omschrijving
Het bakhuisje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond met één bouwlaag onder een zadeldak. Op dit dak liggen zowel gesmoorde als rode kruispannen. Op de nok van het dak bevindt zich een opgemetselde schoorsteen. De gevels zijn gepleisterd en voorzien van enkele kleine rechtgesloten vensters en een houten deur.
Waardering
Het bakhuisje is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van een boerderijdie een schakel is in de ontwikkeling van een boerderijtype. Het bakhuis heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de ruimtelijk- functionele en visuele samenhang met de overige complexonderdelen en vanwege de volledig vrije ligging. Het bakhuis is tevens van belang vanwege de herkenbaarheid en de redelijk mate van gaafheid.

The BAKEHOUSE belonging to the farmhouse complex at Kromme Elleboog 1 in Binnenmaas probably dates from the first half of the nineteenth century. It is characterized by extremely austere design in a Craft-traditional building manner and is in reasonable condition. The small bakehouse is located at the left side of the dwelling.
Description
The small bakehouse has a rectangular floor plan with one storey under a gabled roof. On this roof lie both muffled and red crossed roof tiles. On the ridge of the roof is a mortared chimney. The facades are plastered and provided with several small right-angled windows and a wooden door.
Valuation
The small bakehouse is of general interest because of its cultural-historical value as a component of a farmhouse that is a link in the development of a farmhouse type. The bakehouse has ensemble value because of the spatial-functional and visual coherence with the other complex components and because of the completely free-standing location.
