Omschrijving
De Hervormde kerk met het tweeklaviers orgel gemaakt in 1858 door H. Knipscheer. Het instrument heeft tien registers en een vrij pedaal. Het pedaal is een moderne uitbreiding uit 1968.
Waardering
Van het werk van de Amsterdamse orgelmaker Knipscheer is relatief weinig bewaard gebleven. Zijn instrumenten munten uit door klassieke bouwprincipes gepaard gaande aan een eigentijdse klankgeving. De instrumenten zijn nog geheel op ambachtelijke wijze vervaardigd. Het instrument is nog nagenoeg ongeschonden bewaard gebleven behoudens de, vrij van het orgel geplaatste, uitbreiding met een zelfstandig pedaalwerk met drie registers.

Relatively little has been preserved of the work of the Amsterdam organ builder Knipscheer. His instruments are distinguished by classical building principles combined with contemporary sound design.
