Omschrijving complexonderdeel 3
Het op de vaste brug over de sloot, voor het erf van de boerderij geplaatste toegangshek is omstreeks 1906 vervaardigd door de plaatselijke smid Vonk. Het hek bestaat uit twee, traditioneel vormgegeven achtzijdige gietijzeren zware gecanneleerde pijlers met een basement, middenstuk met cannellures, en een kapiteel bekroond door een pijnappelmotief. De openslaande hekdelen alsmede de zijvleugels zijn uitgevoerd in smeedijzer in een op de Art Nouveau stijl geïnspireerde vormgeving met o.a. zweepslagmotieven.

Het inrijhek is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf bewaard hekwerk in eclectische stijl met art nouveau moetieven, alsmede van ensemblewaarde, zijnde als entree bepalend voor het boerenerf met boerderij en wagenschuur.

The access gate placed on the fixed bridge over the ditch, in front of the farmyard of the farmhouse, was made around 1906 by the local blacksmith Vonk. The gate consists of two, traditionally shaped octagonal cast iron heavy fluted pillars with a base, middle section with fluting, and a capital crowned by a pinecone motif. The hinged gate sections as well as the side wings are executed in wrought iron in a design inspired by the Art Nouveau style with, among other things, whiplash motifs.

The entrance gate is of general interest because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a well-preserved gate work in eclectic style with art nouveau motifs, as well as of ensemble value, being as the entrance determining for the farmyard with farmhouse and wagon shed.
