WOONHUIS uit 1922, deel uitmakend van complex "Dudokhuizen" aan de Godelindeweg.
Omschrijving
Over één en twee bouwlagen in hout opgetrokken WOONHUIS met samengesteld bouwvolume onder een zadeldak met overstek, gedekt met rode Hollandse pannen. De noklijn boven het rechthoekige hoofdvolume staat loodrecht op de Godelindeweg, de rechter helft van de voorgevel en de westgevel zijn grotendeels opgetrokken in wit geschilderde horizontale houten delen, voor het overige zwartgeteerde gepotdekselde delen. De vensters zijn uitgevoerd met een kleine roedenverdeling. De linker helft van de voorgevel bestaat uit gepotdekselde delen onder ver doorgetrokken dakschild waarin het schilddak boven de korte uitbouw aan de linker gevel insteekt. Beganegronds twee vijftienruits vensters en op de verdieping een vierkant negenruits venster. Voor het rechter terugliggende deel van de voorgevel een muurtje van gepotdekselde delen die fungeert als bloembak. In de wit geschilderde gevel een staand venster en onder het dakoverstek een liggend hoekvenster. De entree bevindt zich in de westgevel onder een luifel. Rechts daarvan een risalerend geveldeel met een vierdelige vensterstrook onder verlengd dakschild met schoorsteenpartij. In de achtergevel openslaande tuindeuren, geflankeerd door vensters, waarvan de rechter om de hoek is doorgezet in de oostgevel. Centraal in de oostgevel een samengestelde vensterpartij met vijf zesruits vensters en rechts de uitbouw onder steekkap. In de dakschilden aan de zuid- en oostgevel brede dakkapellen.
Waardering
Het woonhuis uit 1922 is als onderdeel van het complex "Dudokhuizen" van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als representatief voorbeeld van een middenstandswoning uit het vroege oeuvre van W.M. Dudok. Kenmerkend zijn de in- en uitspringende bouwvolumes en het spel van horizontalen en vertikalen in materiaalgebruik en detaillering. Het woonhuis heeft grote situationele waarde vanwege de beeldbepalende ligging als onderdeel van het ensemble langs de Godelindeweg tegenover de vesting Naarden.

Over one and two storeys built in wood DWELLING with composite building volume under a gabled roof with overhang, covered with red Dutch tiles. The ridge line above the rectangular main volume is perpendicular to the Godelindeweg, the right half of the front facade and the west facade are largely built in white-painted horizontal wooden sections, for the rest black-tarred pantile-clad sections. The windows are executed with small glazing bars. The left half of the front facade consists of pantile-clad sections under far-extended roof slope in which the hipped roof above the short extension on the left gable cuts in. On the ground floor two fifteen-pane windows and on the storey a square nine-pane window. In front of the right recessed part of the front facade is a wall of pantile-clad sections functioning as a planter. In the white-painted facade a vertical window and under the roof overhang a horizontal corner window. The entrance is located in the west facade under a canopy. To the right of it a projecting facade section with a four-part window strip under extended roof slope with chimney section. In the rear facade French doors, flanked by windows, of which the right extends round the corner in the east facade. Centrally in the east facade a composite window section with five six-pane windows and to the right the extension under catslide roof. In the roof slopes on the south and east facades broad roof dormers.

The dwelling from 1922 is as part of the complex "Dudokhuizen" of general importance because of its architectural and cultural historical value as a representative example of a middle-class dwelling from the early work of W.M. The dwelling has great situational value because of its prominent location as part of the ensemble along the Godelindeweg opposite the fortress Naarden.
