Inleiding
De schuur behorend bij het complex kapel van Genooi dateert uit 1864 en is parallel aan de boerderij gebouwd. De schuur is gebouwd in de stijl van het Traditionalisme.
Omschrijving
De langwerpige schuur telt een bouwlaag onder een zadeldak met oude Hollandse pannen. Baksteen in kruisverband. Onder de dakrand gemetselde boogfriezen. In het midden van de voorgevel een segmentboogvormige houten deur met hardstenen dorpel. Aan de linker- en rechterzijde een segmentboogvormig stalvenster. In de kopgevel aan de oostzijde een grote segmentboogvormige houten schuurpoort met hardstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen. In de sluitsteen het jaartal 1864. In de topgevel van de kopgevel een segmentboogvormige nis. In de kopgevel aan de westzijde eveneens een segmentboogvormige houten schuurpoort met aanzet- en sluitstenen. Links van deze poort twee vensters van omstreeks 1970. In de achtergevel in het rechtergeveldeel twee hoge rechthoekige vensters van omstreeks 1970 met rechts hiervan een segmentboogvormig stalvenster. Eveneens gemetselde boogfriezen onder de dakrand. De indeling en uitmonstering van het INTERIEUR zijn gemoderniseerd. Het dak heeft de authentieke houten spanten.

De schuur bezit als onderdeel van het complex kapel van Genooi cultuurhistoriche waarde vanwege het belang voor de religieuze geschiedenis van Nederland met name voor de geschiedenis van bedevaartplaatsen. To the left of this door two windows from circa 1970. In the rear facade in the right part of the gable two tall rectangular windows from circa 1970 with to the right of these a segmental arch-shaped stable window.
