Inleiding
Drie voormalige toiletgebouwtjes AH, AN en AP, respectievelijk aan de zuidzijde, de westzijde en de noordwestzijde van het kazerneterrein gesitueerd. De gebouwtjes dateren uit omstreeks 1914 en dienden oorspronkelijk als privaten voor de manschappen. Thans hebben de gebouwtjes een functie als opslagplaats. De toegepaste bouwstijl is het Traditionalisme met elementen van de Chaletstijl.
Omschrijving
De drie gebouwtjes hebben een rechthoekige plattegrond en tellen een bouwlaag onder een zadeldak met Hollandse pannen. Het overstek van de zijgevels van het dak rust op houten schoren op muurstijltjes. Het overstek van de kopgevels is verstijfd met een houten kruis. In het midden van de voorgevel een rechthoekige houten dubbele deur met aan de bovenzijde een segmentboog in baksteen. In de topgevel een ronde nis. Alleen gebouw AN heeft aan weerszijden van de dubbele deur een rechthoekig ventilatierooster. In de zijgevels tussen de vijf houten consoles vier blinde venstertjes met bakstenen dorpel. De deuren in de achtergevels zijn dichtgezet.
Waardering
De drie voormalige toiletgebouwtjes van de Frederik Hendrik kazerne bezitten als onderdeel van het kazernecomplex cultuurhistorische waarde vanwege het belang voor de militaire geschiedenis van Nederland. De architectuurhistorische waarden worden bepaald door het belang van de gebouwtjes voor de typologische ontwikkeling binnen de architectuur van militair-utilitaire gebouwen. The eaves of the end gables are braced with a wooden cross. In the middle of the front facade a rectangular wooden double door with a segmental arch in brick above. In the top gable a round niche. Only building AN has rectangular ventilation grilles on either side of the double door. In the side gables between five wooden consoles four blind small windows with brick sills. The doors in the rear gables are sealed.
