De HEKPIJLERS behorend bij de historische buitenplaats De Wittenburg in een eenvoudige aan het Classicisme verwante stijl, geplaatst aan het begin van de 20ste eeuw bij de entree tot de buitenplaats aan de Bloemcamplaan. Identieke pijlers aan de Rijksstraatweg (zie onderdeel 3).
Omschrijving
Entree bestaande uit een tweetal plat afgedekte, witgepleisterde zandstenen hekpijlers met blokken, schijnvoeg en een zwartgeschilderde plint. Op de hoeken geprofileerd. Met zwarte letters op de hekpijlers de naam Wittenburg.

The GATE PIERS belonging to the historic country house De Wittenburg in a simple style related to Classicism, placed at the beginning of the 20th century at the entrance to the country house on the Bloemcamplaan. Identical piers at the Rijksstraatweg (see component 3).
Description
Entrance consisting of a pair of flat-topped, white-plastered sandstone gate piers with blocks, false jointing and a black-painted plinth. Moulded at the corners. On the gate piers the name Wittenburg in black letters.

Entrance with gate piers of the historic country house De Wittenburg of general importance on account of its cultural, architectural-historical and ensemble value on account of the historically functional, spatial and stylistic coherence with the other complex components.
