(Voormalige) PORTIERSWONING behorend bij de historische buitenplaats De Wittenburg, gebouwd in 1899-1900 naar ontwerp van J.J. van Nieukerken in een aan de bouwstijl van het landhuis verwante bouwstijl (Hollandse Neo-Renaissance).
Omschrijving
Pand van één bouwlaag op T-vormige plattegrond onder zadeldak met steekkappen, gedekt met tuile du Nordpannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen. Rollagen boven plint, vensters en deur. Houten bakgoot op gootklossen. Voorgevel (oost) is trapgevel met erkerpartij met afgesnoten hoeken.

De (voormalige) portierswoning behorend bij de historische buitenplaats De Wittenburg is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde

(Former) LODGE belonging to the historic country house De Wittenburg, built in 1899-1900 to a design by J.J. van Nieukerken in a building style related to that of the manor house (Hollandse Neo-Renaissance).
Description
Building of one storey on a T-shaped plan under a gabled roof with half-hipped roof, covered with tuile du Nord tiles. The facades are constructed in grey brick. Bands of brickwork above plinth, windows and door. Wooden guttering on gutter brackets. Front elevation (east) is a stepped gable with oriel window section with clipped corners.

The (former) lodge belonging to the historic country house De Wittenburg is of general interest on account of its cultural and architectural-historical value
