Inleiding complexonderdeel 7
Bij de historische buitenplaats Blanckenburg behorende DIENSTWONING gebouwd in 1920 in een sobere, aan de Neo-Renaissance verwant stijl naar ontwerp van de architect F.A. Koch. De woning staat aan het begin van de oprijlaan, op de hoek met de Buurtweg.
N.B. De aanbouw aan de noordzijde dateert uit 1999 en is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaand eenlaags pand vanaf een T-vormige plattegrond opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen (halfsteensverband). Het schilddak met ingezwenkte voet en het haaks daarop aangesloten zadeldak is gedekt met gesmoorde Tuile du Nordpannen en heeft een iets overstekende goot op klossen.
Zuidgevel aan de straatzijde met links de risalerende kopse gevel van het dwarsgeplaatste bouwdeel. Deze gevel is een tuitgevel met uitgemetselde schouders. Op de begane grond een zesruits schuifvenster met luiken en ter plaatse van de zolderverdieping een dubbel zesruits venster. In het terugliggende geveldeel, rechts de entree onder een bovenlicht met ruitvormige roedenverdeling. Boven deze gevel een dakkapel met vleugelstukken en vierruits venster. In de oostelijke gevel op de begane grond twee zesruits schuifvensters met luiken en een dakkapel met vleugelstukken en een dubbel vierruits venster.
De westelijke gevel heeft een dubbele glasdeur met panelen in de onderzijde, voorzien van luiken en een dubbel zesruits schuifvenster met luiken.
In de noordelijk gevel is een paneeldeur geplaatst en ter plaatse van de zolderverdieping een dubbel vierruits venster.
Inwendig is de oorspronkelijke plattegrondindeling en detaillering voor een groot deel oorspronkelijk.
Waardering
Uit 1920 daterende dienstwoning van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als ruimtelijk en functioneel onderdeel van de de buitenplaats Blanckenburg.

Description
Detached single-storey building from a T-shaped plan, constructed in grey brick (half-brick bond). The hipped roof with concave foot and the gabled roof connecting at right angles to it is covered with smoked Tuile du Nord tiles and has a slightly projecting gutter on corbels.
South facade facing the street with the projecting end facade of the transverse section on the left. This facade is a spout gable with mortared shoulders. On the ground floor a six-light sash window with shutters and at the level of the attic storey a double six-light window. In the recessed facade section, the entrance on the right under a fanlight with diamond-shaped glazing bars. Above this facade a dormer with wing pieces and four-light window. In the eastern facade on the ground floor two six-light sash windows with shutters and a dormer with wing pieces and a double four-light window.
The western facade has a double glass door with panels in the lower part, fitted with shutters and a double six-light sash window with shutters.
In the northern facade a panel door is placed and at the level of the attic storey a double four-light window.
Internally the original plan layout and detailing are for the most part original.
