De bij de historische buitenplaats Wiltzangk behorende HISTORISCHE TUIN- en PARKAANLEG in Nieuwe Architectonische tuinstijl is tot stand gekomen omstreeks 1920 naar een ontwerp van de tuinarachitect D.F. Tersteeg. Bij het ontwerp is de bestaande landschappelijke parkaanleg naar ontwerp van C.E.A. Petzold, als coulis geïntegreerd. Onderdelen die deel uitmaken van de aanleg zijn een terras, tuinvazen op sokkels en lantaarnpalen.
Omschrijving
De besloten geometrische tuinaanleg ten zuidoosten van het huis, is opgebouwd uit verschillende elementen en wordt grotendeels door water omgrensd. Deze sloten zijn evenals enkele aftakkingen aan de zuidzijde waarschijnlijk restanten van de 18de-eeuwse parkaanleg.
De geometrisch tuinaanleg kenmerkt zich door een gevarieerde beplanting met rododendrons, verschillende taxussen, berken, magnolia, ceder, wilg.
De op de middenas gesitueerde, gemetselde trap ligt in het midden van het met flagstones bestrate terras voor de achtergevel. Het terras heeft gemetselde keermuren met een balustrade van ajourwerk. Hier ligt een lager gelegen tuin met een rechthoekig padenpatroon, omgrensd door geschoren (buxus)hagen. In de centrale middenas leidt een vaste brug over de dwars voor het huis lopende sloot. In het verlengde van de brug loopt een met flagstones bestraat pad, dat uitkomt bij een dwarsas. Een siervaas staat in de midden van een geschoren cirkelvormige buxushaag, als middelpunt van een in opzet geometrisch patroon. Het door grote geschoren buxusbollen geflankeerde pad komt uit bij de dwarsas, die gemarkeerd wordt door een beeld met putto.
Ten zuidoosten van de dwarsas ligt in de hoofdas een symmetrisch opgezette waterpartij. Deze heeft een langgerekte, in het midden halfcirkelvormige, ingesnoerde vorm. Op de hoeken staan onder meer grote taxussen en rododendrons. Aan de korte zuidwest- en noordoostzijde staan halfcirkelvormig gemetselde tuinbanken met bloembakken. Als coulis van zuidoostelijke begrenzing van dit gedeelte van de tuin fungeren ondermeer naaldbomen, taxussen en een treurwilg.
Verspreid over het terrein staan verschillende tuinvazen op een gemetselde sokkel, waaronder een langs de oprijlaan naar het huis, die vergelijkbaar is met de exemplaren op de vaste brug. In het bijzonder langs de oprijlaan staan ijzeren lantaarnpalen, stammend uit de eerste decennia van de 20ste eeuw.

The HISTORICAL GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the historical country estate Wiltzangk in the New Architectural garden style was created around 1920 after a design by garden architect D.F. Description
The enclosed geometric garden layout southeast of the house is built up from various elements and is largely bounded by water. These ditches, as well as some branches on the south side, are probably remnants of the 18th-century park layout.
The geometric garden layout is characterised by varied planting with rhododendrons, various yews, birches, magnolia, cedar, willow.
The built staircase situated on the central axis lies in the middle of the terrace paved with flagstones in front of the rear facade. The terrace has built retaining walls with a balustrade of openwork. Here lies a lower garden with a rectangular path pattern, bounded by clipped (box) hedges. In the central axis a fixed bridge crosses the ditch running laterally in front of the house. In the extension of the bridge runs a path paved with flagstones, which leads to a cross axis. A decorative vase stands in the middle of a clipped circular box hedge, as the centre point of a geometrically designed pattern. The path flanked by large clipped box balls leads to the cross axis, which is marked by a sculpture with a putto.
Southeast of the cross axis lies a symmetrically arranged water feature in the main axis. This has an elongated form, semicircular in the middle and constricted. Large yews and rhododendrons stand on the corners. Semicircular built garden benches with flower boxes stand on the short southwest and northeast sides. Large conifers, yews and a weeping willow serve as a backdrop to the southeast boundary of this part of the garden.
Varied garden vases on a built pedestal are scattered across the site, including one along the drive to the house, which is comparable to the specimens on the fixed bridge. In particular along the drive there are iron lamp posts, dating from the first decades of the 20th century.
