Inleiding
Vroeg negentiende-eeuws woonhuis met een vroeg-twintigste eeuwse, in een aan de Art Nouveau verwante bouwstijl opgetrokken WINKELPUI met WINKEL. Omstreeks 1850 werd de wijnhandel Goeden opgericht. In 1871 werd het Neo-Barokke plafond in de winkel aangebracht. De glas-in-lood wand in Art Nouveau-stijl, die zich eertijds tussen winkel en opslagruimte bevond, is niet meer aanwezig.
De glasreliëfs aan het exterieur zijn van de hand van L.J. de Wolf te Den Haag.
De gevel maakt deel uit van een gesloten gevelwand aan de Herenstraat in het beschermde dorpsgezicht van Voorburg.
Omschrijving
De winkelpui en de oudere lijstgevel worden gescheiden door een cordonlijst.
De symmetrische pui is opgetrokken uit bezande machinale bakstenen in kruisverband op een hardstenen, antraciet geschilderde plint, waarvan de stenen op de hoeken gefrijnd zijn. De pui is voorzien van wit geschilderde speklagen, die ter weerszijden van de grote winkelruit in het midden geprofileerd zijn. De winkelruit is gevat in blank gelakte kozijnen. Links en rechts van deze ruit bevindt zich een paneeldeur. De linker entree voor de trap naar de bovenwoning bestaat uit een blank gelakte paneeldeur met Art Nouveau bovenlicht met gekleurd glas-in-lood. De winkeldeur heeft een grote ruit, gevat in een houten lijst. Aan de penanten tussen de winkelruit en de deuren zijn zwarte glasreliëfs in Art Nouveau-stijl bevestigd. Deze zijn voorzien van de opschriften 'Binnen- en Buitenlandsch gedistilleerd en likeuren en gros- en detail' en 'Wijnand Fockink Amsterdam Likeuren Oude Genever Superior'. De diepliggende opschriften zijn aangezet met goudverf en verlucht met respectievelijk wijnranken en druiven èn korenaren en korenbloemen. Boven de winkelruit en de deuren zijn glasreliëfs aangebracht met de opschriften 'Oporto', 'Bordeau','Bourgogne' en 'Jerez'. De brievenbus rechts van de winkeldeur is in de vorm van een marmeren B uitgevoerd. Tussen de winkelpui en de oudere lijstgevel bevindt zich een cordonlijst.
INTERIEUR. In het interieur van de winkel bevinden zich onder meer (gedeeltelijk intacte en in de huidige situatie door wijnstellingen aan het oog onttrokken) wanden met handbeschilderde Art Nouveau-tegels met florale motieven en een tegelvloer in samenhangend patroon. Voorts bestaat het plafond uit kruisende balken met vier grote en twee kleine cassetten. Op de gehoute balken zijn in reliëf uitgevoerde lopende hond- en bladmotieven, kraalranden en tandlijsten aangebracht. De cassetten zijn met trompe l'oeil latwerk in geometrische patronen verdeeld. In de centrale vlakken zijn in reliëf uitgevoerde putti met wijnranken en cherubs met bloemenranken geschilderd. De zijpanelen zijn met bloemen verlucht.
Waardering
De winkelpui en winkel zijn van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde en ensemblewaarde:
- als een karakteristiek voorbeeld van een specifieke functie.
- als uitdrukking van een voor de bouwperiode typerende, aan de Art Nouveau-verwante stijl en vanwege de karakteristieke vormgeving en materiaalgebruik.

Introduction
Early nineteenth-century residential building with an early-twentieth-century SHOP FRONT with SHOP constructed in a building style related to Art Nouveau. Around 1850 the wine merchant Goeden was established. In 1871 the Neo-Baroque ceiling was installed in the shop. The stained-glass partition wall in Art Nouveau style, which was once located between the shop and storage space, is no longer present.

The facade forms part of a closed facade wall on the Herenstraat in the protected village character area of Voorburg.
Description
The shop front and the older cornice-topped facade are separated by a string course.
The symmetrical front is constructed from sanded machine-made bricks in stretcher bond on a hardstone, antracite-painted plinth, the stones of which are chamfered at the corners. The front is provided with white-painted brickwork, which is profiled on either side of the large shop window in the middle. The shop window is set in blank-glazed frames. To the left and right of this window is a panelled door. The left entrance to the stairs to the upper floor consists of a blank-glazed panelled door with Art Nouveau fanlight with coloured stained glass. The shop door has a large pane, set in a wooden frame. Black glass reliefs in Art Nouveau style are attached to the pilasters between the shop window and the doors. These are inscribed with 'Binnen- en Buitenlandsch gedistilleerd en likeuren en gros- en detail' and 'Wijnand Fockink Amsterdam Likeuren Oude Genever Superior'. The recessed inscriptions are highlighted with gold paint and adorned with respectively vine leaves and grapes and ears of corn and cornflowers. Above the shop window and the doors are glass reliefs with the inscriptions 'Oporto', 'Bordeau', 'Bourgogne' and 'Jerez'. The letter box to the right of the shop door is in the form of a marble B. Between the shop front and the older cornice-topped facade is a string course.
INTERIOR. In the interior of the shop there are, among other things, (partially intact and in the present situation obscured by wine racks) walls with hand-painted Art Nouveau tiles with floral motifs and a tiled floor in a coherent pattern. Furthermore, the ceiling consists of crossing beams with four large and two small coffered panels. On the carved beams running dog and leaf motifs, bead mouldings and dentil mouldings are worked in relief. The coffered panels are divided by trompe l'oeil latticework in geometric patterns. In the central fields putti with vine leaves and cherubs with flower garlands are worked in relief and painted. The side panels are decorated with flowers.
Valuation
The shop front and shop are of general importance because of their cultural and architectural-historical value and ensemble value:
