Inleiding
WONINGBLOK bestaande uit 4 arbeiderswoningen onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex 't Rooie Dorp, haaks op de Venenlaan gesitueerd blok aan de zuidwestzijde van het linker hofje.
Omschrijving
Symmetrisch opgezet woningblok van vier woningen. De voorgevel bestaat uit twee identieke delen die elk voorzien zijn van een enigszins verhoogde middenpartij met hierin voor elke woning een dubbel T-venster en in het verhoogde dakvlak van elke woning een dakkapel met twee gekoppelde zesruits ramen onder een zadeldak gedekt door rode Hollandse pannen. Ter weerszijden van elke middenpartij bevindt zich een voordeur waarnaast het resterende gedeelte van de voorgevel terugspringt en voorzien is van een smal venster met bovenlicht.

Waardering
Het woningblok is van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde, tevens van belang wegens stedenbouwkundige en ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex "'t Rooie Dorp.

HOUSING BLOCK consisting of 4 workers' dwellings part of the housing complex 't Rooie Dorp, positioned at right angles to the Venenlaan on the south-west side of the left courtyard.
Description
Symmetrically arranged housing block of four dwellings. The front facade consists of two identical sections, each provided with a slightly raised central section with in it for each dwelling a double T-window and in the raised roof section of each dwelling a roof dormer with two coupled six-pane windows under a gabled roof covered with red Dutch tiles. On either side of each central section there is a front door next to which the remaining part of the front facade steps back and is provided with a narrow window with fanlight.
