PASTORIE behorende bij het complex St. Hildegardiskerk, gebouwd in de jaren 1890-1892 naar ontwerp van E.J. Margry. De pastorie is aan de oostzijde van de kerk gebouwd tussen de Verbraakstraat en de Hammerstraat.
Omschrijving
De pastorie is een diep pand, dat aan de Hammerstraat via de sacristie in verbinding staat met de kerk. Het pand bevat twee bouwlagen, een kleine kelder en een kapverdieping onder deels een zadeldak en deels een schilddak. De daken zijn bedekt met leien. Het pand is op een zo goed als rechthoekige plattegrond boven een natuurstenen plint opgetrokken in rode baksteen met natuurstenen speklagen, doorlopende cordonlijsten vlak onder de vensters en sluitstenen in de ontlastingsbogen. De deuren en de ramen hebben houten kozijnen. De voorgevel van het pand bevindt zich aan de Hammerstraat en bestaat links uit een risalerend bouwdeel van twee vensterassen breed, een trapgevel en een zadeldak en rechts een terugliggend bouwdeel van drie vensterassen breed met een schilddak. De hoofdingang bevindt zich iets inpandig in de meest linker vensteras in het terugliggende deel en is toegankelijk via een natuurstenen trap. In het bovenlicht boven de ingang bevinden zich twee gekoppelde rondboogvensters met een natuurstenen deelzuiltje. De schuifvensters op de begane grond zijn allen identiek en aan de bovenzijde voorzien van een gemetselde driepasboog. De vensters op de eerste verdieping hebben glas-in-lood bovenlichten en boven de vensters licht getoogde ontlastingsbogen. Het risalerende bouwdeel heeft ter hoogte van de daklijst een decoratieve keperband, het terugliggende bouwdeel heeft op deze hoogte een meer uitkragende gemetselde tandlijst. De puntgevel is opgetrokken in Neo-Gotische trant: in het midden een klein rechthoekig kruisvenster met in het bovenlicht een driepasboog. Aan weerszijden hiervan drie smalle in hoogte afnemende blindbogen. In de trapgeveltop bevindt zich een smeedijzeren sieranker. Het ernaast gelegen schildak heeft een geprofileerde houten daklijst. In het dakschild zijn twee dakkapellen met rechthoekige vensters en puntdaken aangebracht. De puntdaken zijn bekroond met pijnappels. De lange zijgevel aan de Verbraakstraat heeft geen natuurstenen plint maar een gemetselde waterlijst. De rechthoekige schuifvensters, zeven op de begane grond en negen op de eerste verdieping, zijn conform de vensters op de eerste verdieping van de voorgevel. De speklagen in de voorgevel lopen door in de zijgevel. Op de eerste verdieping, op de hoek Verbraakstraat/Ruivenstraat bevindt zich een veelhoekige arkel op een gietijzeren constructie, rustend op natuurstenen consoles. Langs de geprofileerde houten daklijst loopt een natuurstenen tandlijst. In het dak bevinden zich hier drie identieke dakkapellen met puntdaken en pinakels. De achtergevel aan de Ruivenstraat bestaat uit twee vensterassen en is sober vormgegeven conform de zijgevel.

The building is raised on an almost rectangular ground plan above a natural stone plinth in red brick with natural stone courses, continuous string courses just below the windows and voussoirs in the relieving arches. The doors and windows have wooden frames. The front facade of the building is located at the Hammerstraat and consists on the left of a projecting building section two window bays wide, a stepped gable and a gabled roof and on the right of a recessed building section three window bays wide with a hipped roof. The main entrance is located slightly recessed in the furthest left window bay in the recessed section and is accessible via a natural stone staircase. In the fanlight above the entrance are two coupled round-arched windows with a natural stone dividing colonette. The rear facade at the Ruivenstraat consists of two window bays and is designed soberly in conformity with the side facade.
