Inleiding
De BERGSCHUUR is gelegen op het erf van boerderij Onder de Linde, aan de noordzijde van de Benedeneindseweg in de kern van Deil. De bergschuur werd omstreeks 1880 gebouwd.
De in de grondvorm vijfhoekige plattegrond van de vijf-roedige bergschuur is aan drie zijden uitgebouwd. De hoofdentree bevindt zich in de oostgevel, naar de vloedschuur toe, en bestaat uit dubbele, opgeklampte deuren; het rechterdeel bestaat uit een onder- en een bovendeur.
In de houten uitbouw (zuidgevel) is de koestal nog compleet aanwezig.
De bergschuur is traditioneel opgebouwd uit een stenen, ronde, iets conische por, waarop een tasvloer uit eiken liggers en kierende vloerdelen ligt.
De roeden zijn gedeeltelijk afgezaagd en de constructie is door wijkende houtverbindingen soms iets uit haar verband. De hoofdliggers van de verhoogde tasvloer zijn verbonden met de roeden en naar drie zijden afgeschoord. De constructie is zeer zorgvuldig en compleet uitgevoerd.
De kap van de berg is met riet gedekt, de sporen zijn van rondhout en wisselend van lengte en formaat. De draagconstructie van de kap is de krans van eiken gordingen, de zogenoemde lannen, met pen en gat verbindingen. De lannen zijn op iedere hoek met een ijzeren hangmechanisme aan de roeden opgehangen. Door falen van het mechanisme en het inrotten van de roeden aan de noordoostzijde is de kap scheefgezakt. De kap is in originele en authentieke staat.
De gevels van de bergschuur bestaan grotendeels uit rabatgezaagde, brede delen (plaatselijk ondersteboven toegepast). De noordgevel is versteend en bevat tal van bouwsporen.
De uitbouwen zijn in hout uitgevoerd met een stenen plint, behalve de noord-oost schuur. Deze is opgemetseld in baksteen en gepleisterd. De dakbedekking bestaat deels uit golfplaten en deels uit gesmoorde pannen. De dubbele deuren, maar ook de staldeuren bevatten smeedijzeren gehengen en klinkstellen.

Introduction
The BERGSCHUUR is located on the grounds of the farmhouse Onder de Linde, on the north side of the Benedeneindseweg in the centre of Deil. The bergschuur was built around 1880.
The five-rod bergschuur, which has a pentagonal ground plan, is extended on three sides. The main entrance is situated in the east gable, facing the flood barn, and consists of double, clamped doors; the right section consists of a lower and an upper door.
In the wooden extension (south gable) the cow shed is still completely present.
The bergschuur is traditionally constructed from a stone, round, slightly conical por, on which a haymow floor of oak beams and cleaving floor parts lies.
The rods are partially sawn off and the construction is sometimes slightly out of alignment due to yielding timber connections. The main beams of the raised haymow floor are connected to the rods and braced to three sides. The construction is executed with great care and is complete.
The roof of the berg is thatched with reed, the rafters are of round timber and vary in length and format. The load-bearing structure of the roof is the frame of oak girders, the so-called lannen, with mortise and tenon connections. The lannen are hung on each corner with an iron hanging mechanism to the rods. Due to failure of the mechanism and the rotting of the rods on the north-east side, the roof has sagged askew. The roof is in an original and authentic state.
The gables of the bergschuur consist largely of rabat-sawn, broad pieces (locally applied upside down). The north gable is bricked up and contains numerous building traces.
The extensions are executed in timber with a stone plinth, except for the north-east shed. This is built up in brick and plastered. The roof covering consists partly of corrugated sheets and partly of smothered tiles. The double doors, as well as the stable doors, contain wrought iron hinges and rivet sets.
