WOONHUIS op samengesteld grondplan, twee bouwlagen hoog onder een samengestelde kap bestaande uit een zadeldak belegd met gesmoorde Muldenpannen (bouwdeel rechts) en een flauw hellend lessenaarsdak (bouwdeel links). Langs het dak lopen witgeschilderde windveren. De puntgevel rechts bezit een gereconstrueerd schijnspant met een gesneden sierrand in de vorm van druppels en voor het linker bouwdeel is een gesneden dakrand aangebracht met een vergelijkbare detaillering. De gevels bezitten een gepleisterde plint en zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband. Ze worden verlevendigd door witgepleisterde speklagen, geboorte- en sluitstenen en gepleisterde boogvelden waarin bloemenranken zijn aangebracht. De asymmetrisch ingedeelde VOORGEVEL aan de Spoorstraat bestaat rechts uit een vooruitspringend, twee vensterassen brede partij met puntgevel en een iets terugliggend linkerdeel waarin zich de entree bevindt. In het rechter geveldeel bevinden zich op begane grondniveau twee tweeruits schuifvensters elk onder een segmentboog. Op de verdieping is centraal in de gevel onder het schijnspant gekoppelde tweeruits schuifvensters geplaats onder een rondboog met witgeschilderd boogveld. Naar de niet-oorspronkelijke, waarschijnlijk uit de jaren twintig stammende voordeur met smal verticaal vierruits venster leiden twee treden thans belegd met grindtegels. Het rechthoekige bovenlicht van de deur is gevuld met glas-in-lood. In de bouwlaag hierboven bevindt zich centraal in het geveldeel een niet-oorspronkelijk stolpvenster met bovenlicht. De belendende school is tegen de RECHTER ZIJGEVEL aangebouwd. De sobere drie vensterassen brede LINKER ZIJGEVEL bezit geheel rechts in de eerste bouwlaag een blind venster en geheel links een tweeruits schuifvenster beide onder segmentboog. In de tweede bouwlaag bevinden zich in de centrale en in de linker as twee openslaande vensters. Tegen de ACHTERGEVEL van het woonhuis is links een eenlaags aanbouw geplaatst onder zadeldak belegd met pannen. In de rechter zijgevel van deze aanbouw bevinden zich een deur en een venster. De indeling van INTERIEUR is nog in belangrijke mate in oorspronkelijke staat. Door middel van deuren op de begane grond en op de verdieping is de belendende school toegankelijk. Het woonhuis bezit kamers-en-suite gedeeld door schuifdeuren. In de gang op de begane grond bevindt zich een terrazzo vloer en in de keuken een eenvoudige houten schouw. Naar de verdieping leidt een eenvoudige houten trap.

DWELLING HOUSE on a composite ground plan, two storeys high under a composite roof consisting of a gabled roof laid with muted Mulden tiles (building section right) and a gently sloping lean-to roof (building section left). White-painted roof timbers run along the roof. The pointed gable on the right possesses a reconstructed false collar tie with a carved decorative edge in the form of drops and for the left building section a carved roof edge has been applied with similar detailing. The gables possess a plastered plinth and are built in red brickwork laid in bond. They are enlivened by white-plastered decorative brick courses, birth and closing stones and plastered arch fields in which flower scrolls have been applied. The asymmetrically arranged FRONT GABLE facing Spoorstraat consists on the right of a projecting section two window bays wide with pointed gable and a slightly recessed left section in which the entrance is located. In the right gable section on ground floor level there are two two-light sash windows each under a segmental arch. On the upper floor centrally in the gable under the false collar tie coupled two-light sash windows are placed under a round arch with white-painted arch field. To the non-original front door, probably dating from the nineteen-twenties, with narrow vertical four-light window, two steps now laid with gravel tiles lead. The rectangular fanlight of the door is filled with leaded glass. In the storey above there is centrally in the gable section a non-original hopper window with fanlight. The adjoining school is built against the RIGHT SIDE GABLE. The sober three window bays wide LEFT SIDE GABLE possesses at the far right on the first storey a blind window and at the far left a two-light sash window both under segmental arch. In the second storey there are in the central and in the left bay two casement windows. Against the REAR GABLE of the dwelling house on the left a single-storey outbuilding is placed under a gabled roof laid with tiles. In the right side gable of this outbuilding there are a door and a window. The arrangement of the INTERIOR is still largely in original condition. By means of doors on the ground floor and on the upper floor the adjoining school is accessible. The dwelling house possesses rooms-en-suite divided by sliding doors. In the corridor on the ground floor there is a terrazzo floor and in the kitchen a simple wooden chimney breast. A simple wooden stair leads to the upper floor.
