Inleiding
DIENSTWONING/KOETSHUIS gebouwd in 1872 behorend bij de villa `Eureka' (later `Beekwolde'/'De Witte Brug', Rijksstraatweg 26) op de plek van de voormalige buitenplaats `Beekzicht', gewijzigd in 1910. De dienstwoning/ koetshuis bevindt zich aan de westzijde van de Terwoldseweg. In het pand waren ondergebracht de paardenstallen, het koetshuis en de woning van het personeelslid.
Omschrijving
De DIENSTWONING/ KOETSHUIS met rechthoekig grondplan bestaat uit één, soms twee bouwlagen afgesloten door meerdere zadeldaken gedekt met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen en muldenpannen. Het gebouw bestaat uit drie volumes. Links bevindt zich de paardenstal bestaande uit één bouwlaag en een zolder afgesloten door een zadeldak gedekt met oud Hollandse pannen. Rechts van de paardenstal bevindt zich het koetshuis bestaande uit een begane grond en een zolder afgesloten door een zadeldak, haaks op het zadeldak van de paardenstal. Uiterst rechts bevindt zich het woonhuis bestaande uit twee bouwlagen en een zolder, afgesloten door een zadeldak gedekt met gesmoorde muldenpannen. De gevels met gepleisterd trasraam zijn opgetrokken in bruinrode baksteen in kruisverband. In de gevels bevinden zich diverse vensters afgesloten door een gepleisterde rondboog. De VOORGEVEL bestaat uit de blinde gevel van de paardenstal, de gevel van het koetshuis en de gevel van de woning. De gevel van het koetshuis bestaat uit een risaliet en een lage gevel. Centraal in de risalerende topgevel bevindt zich een dubbele, rondboogvormige, paneeldeur met links en rechts een drie-ruits raam met halfrond bovenlicht. Centraal in de geveltop bevindt zich een dubbel, rondboogvormig paneelluik. Links en rechts bevindt zich een rond venster omsloten door een gepleisterde band. Het overstekend zadeldak wordt afgesloten door eenvoudige windveren met geveltopversiering. Rechts van de risaliet bevindt zich een lage gevel met links een paneeldeur met halfrond bovenlicht. Rechts van de deur bevindt zich een rondboog venster met ijzeren roedenverdeling. De gevel eindigt in een gepleisterde tandlijst met geprofileerde bakgoot. In de gevel van de woning bevindt zich links op de begane grond een smal stolpraam met halfrond bovenlicht met op de verdieping een breed stolpraam met halfrond bovenlicht. De ACHTERGEVEL bestaat uit de gevel van de dienstwoning, het koetshuis en de paardenstal. Tegen de begane grond van de woning bevindt zich een niet oorspronkelijke serre tegen een éénlaags uitbouw met plat dak. Op de verdieping bevinden zich twee niet oorspronkelijke vensters. De gevel eindigt in een gepleisterde tandlijst met in het dakschild een dakkapel. In de lage gevel van het koetshuis bevindt zich een rondboog venster. De gevel eindigt in een gepleisterde tandlijst onder de geprofileerde bakgoot. De indeling van de risaliet van het koetshuis is identiek aan die in de voorgevel.
