Inleiding
Twee gekoppelde SCHUURBERGEN uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw. Het object bevindt zich op het erf van boerderij De Werff, en is gesitueerd tussen het bedrijfsgedeelte van de boerderij en de iets hoger gelegen invalsweg Hoogeinde. De schuurbergen zijn evenals de boerderij met de ingangszijde naar het Plein gericht. Naar achteren loopt het erf af in de richting van de (voormalige) rivier de Zoel.
De boerderij (het hoofdgebouw) valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
De twee gekoppelde SCHUURBERGEN hebben één gemeenschappelijke onderbouw voor de stalling van vee en werktuigen. Aan de achter- en rechter zijde is de stalling uitgebouwd. Het dakschild van deze uitbouw is gedekt met gesmoorde oud-Hollandse pannen en watert af zonder goten. De houten wanden van de onderbouw bestaan uit gerabatte delen met messing en groef en zijn geplaatst op een bakstenen voetmuur. De stalling is aan de lange voorzijde bereikbaar via opgeklampte tweedelige deuren: twee dubbele en één enkelvoudig exemplaar. Aan deze zijde bevinden zich tevens enkele vier- en zesruits raampjes. De inwendige draagconstructie van de tasvloer bestaat uit een lange dekbalk op standvinken.
De voor het opslaan van hooi bestemde open bovenbouw bestaat uit twee gescheiden tasruimten met elk een planken tasvloer, vier houten roeden en een in hoogte verstelbaar rieten tentdak met zinken afsluiting.

- Van architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als typologisch goed en gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een dubbele schuurberg uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw met een houten onderbouw (stalling) en twee verhoogde tasruimten met elk vier roeden en een rieten tentdak. Het is object is van bijzonder belang vanwege zijn bestemming en karakteristieke verschijningsvorm, welke verbonden zijn met de grote differentiatie aan bedrijfsgebouwen die karakteristiek is voor het negentiende-eeuwse boerenerf.

Introduction
Two linked SCHUURBERGEN from the second half of the nineteenth century. The object is situated on the grounds of the farmhouse De Werff, and is positioned between the business section of the farmhouse and the slightly higher situated access road Hoogeinde. The schuurbergen are, like the farmhouse, oriented with their entrance side towards the Plein. The grounds slope downwards towards the rear in the direction of the (former) river Zoel.
The farmhouse (the main building) falls outside the protection.
Description
The two linked SCHUURBERGEN have one shared foundation for the stabling of livestock and implements. At the rear and right side the stabling is extended. The roof covering of this extension is clad with smothered old-Dutch tiles and drains away without gutters. The wooden walls of the foundation consist of rebated sections with brass and groove and are placed on a brick plinth. The stabling is accessible along the long front side via fixed two-part doors: two double and one single example. On this side there are also several four- and six-paned windows. The internal load-bearing structure of the hay-floor consists of a long main beam on props.
The open upper structure intended for storing hay consists of two separate hay-rooms each with a wooden hay-floor, four wooden rods and a heightened adjustable thatched tent roof with zinc closure.
