Omschrijving
De WATERPUT is gebouwd ca. 1916 in een stijl die invloed vertoont van de heroriëntatie op traditionele bouwwijzen m.n. van de Neo-Lodewijk XV-stijl. De put bestaat uit twee pijlers, verbonden door een smeedijzeren putbalk en een cirkelvormige borstwering. De zich verjongende pijlers hebben inspringende hoeken, zijn opgebouwd uit speklagen van zandsteen en rode baksteen en hebben een geprofileerde zandstenen dekplaat. De pijlers zijn onderling verbonden door een rijk geornamenteerd, rood en goud geschilderd smeedijzeren element, waar een ketting aan hangt. De borstwering heeft een naar buiten uitzwenkend gedeelte en een geprofileerde zandstenen rand en is evenals de pijlers opgebouwd uit lagen rode baksteen en zandsteen.
Rondom de put bevinden zich drie lage, concentrische bakstenen muurtjes met bloemperken ertussen.

5. THE WATER PUMP
Description
The WATER PUMP was built c. 1916 in a style showing influence of the reorientation towards traditional building methods, particularly of the Neo-Louis XV style. The pump consists of two pilasters connected by a wrought-iron pump beam and a circular parapet wall. The tapering pilasters have inset corners, are constructed of ashlar courses of sandstone and red brick and have a moulded sandstone coping stone. The pilasters are interconnected by a richly ornamented, red and gold painted wrought-iron element from which a chain hangs. The parapet wall has an outward-projecting section and a moulded sandstone edge and is, like the pilasters, constructed of layers of red brick and sandstone.
Around the pump there are three low concentric brick walls with flower beds between them.
