Beschrijving van onderdeel 3:
TUINMANSWONING
Tuinmanswoning behorende bij de buitenplaats Trompenburg, even ten noordoosten van het hoofdhuis gelegen. Het dwarshuis in 1866 gebouwd ter vervanging van een oudere tuinmanswoning. Het huis heeft één bouwlaag met een met pannen gedekt zadeldak tussen topgevel. Verder is er een lage aanbouw onder een aankapping aan de achterzijde. Het geheel is gepleisterd en heeft een symmetrisch opgezette voorgevel met een voordeur met panelen en een bovenlicht en twaalfruits schuiframen met luiken..

GARDENER'S COTTAGE
Gardener's cottage belonging to the country estate Trompenburg, situated just to the northeast of the main house. The transverse house built in 1866 to replace an older gardener's cottage. The house has one storey with a pantile-covered gabled roof between a stepped gable. Furthermore there is a low extension under a pitched roof covering at the rear. The whole is plastered and has a symmetrically arranged front facade with a panelled front door and a fanlight and twelve-pane sash windows with shutters.

The GARDENER'S COTTAGE is of importance - because of its functional significance for the country estate; - as an example of simple yet harmonious architecture.
