HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Huis te Heenvliet. Zeer eenvoudige aanleg met de ruïne als middelpunt gelegen binnen een patroon van rechthoekige omsingelde (knotwilgen) weilanden. De op een verhoging gelegen ruïne staat binnen een dubbele omgrachting: een ronde brede binnengracht die enigszins vergraven is met treurwilgen rondom en een rechthoekige buitengracht die alleen aan de oostzijde een breed verloop heeft. Op de plattegronden uit het Kaartboek uit 1693 staat het patroon van weilanden, sloten en grachten al aangegeven, grotendeels overeenkomstig de huidige situatie en omvang. Direct achter het huis, dat op een dijklichaam staat, lag in de 17de eeuw een rechthoekige parterre de broderie; thans ligt hier een (moderne) bordertuin, aan de westzijde afgesloten door een bosstrook. Moestuin.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate House at Heenvliet. Very simple layout with the ruin as the central point situated within a pattern of rectangular enclosed (pollard willows) meadows. The ruin situated on a raised area stands within a double moat: a round broad inner moat which is somewhat excavated with weeping willows all around and a rectangular outer moat which has a broad expanse only on the east side. On the plans from the Map Book from 1693 the pattern of meadows, ditches and moats is already indicated, largely corresponding to the current situation and extent. Directly behind the house, which stands on a dyke body, lay in the 17th century a rectangular parterre garden; currently here is a (modern) border garden, on the west side closed off by a wooded strip.
