Inleiding.
GRAFMONUMENT, voor Gerardus van ..rleeden (1811-1875) en diens vrouw Adriana Nefkens (1811-....), circa 1890 in neogotische vormen opgetrokken. Op grond van de overeenkomsten in type, uitvoering en detaillering mag worden verondersteld dat de maker van dit grafmonument dezelfde is als die van onderdeel I
Omschrijving.
Het circa 2.30 m hoge grafmonument bestaat uit een samengesteld vierkanten hardstenen basement waarop een uit kalksteen gehouwen staande vrouwenfiguur is geplaatst. De vrouw is gekleed in een hemd met daaroverheen een lange mantel. Beide handen rusten voor het lichaam op een anker. De vrouw heeft het hooft licht opgeheven en kijkt omhoog. In het basement is aan de voorzijde in reliëf een schild aangebracht. Het schild is zwaar beschadigd en de tekst is nog slechts gedeeltelijk leesbaar. Deze luidt: "Godvruchtig aandenken aan Gerardus van ..rleeden 1819-1875, Adriana Nefkens zijne vrouw 1811-.... R.I.P.".
Waardering.
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een groter geheel dat cultuurhistorisch, architectuurhistorisch en stedenbouwkundig van belang is. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven en typologisch zeldzaam.

GRAVE MONUMENT, for Gerardus van ..rleeden (1811-1875) and his wife Adriana Nefkens (1811-....), erected around 1890 in neo-gothic forms. On the basis of the similarities in type, execution and detailing it may be assumed that the maker of this grave monument is the same as that of section I.
Description.
The approximately 2.30 m high grave monument consists of a composite square hardstone base on which a standing female figure carved from limestone is placed. The woman is dressed in a shift with over it a long cloak. Both hands rest before the body on an anchor. The woman has her head slightly raised and looks upward. In the base a shield is mounted in relief on the front. The shield is severely damaged and the text is only partially legible. It reads: "Devout remembrance of Gerardus van ..rleeden 1819-1875, Adriana Nefkens his wife 1811-.... R.I.P.".
Valuation.
The grave monument is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of social and spiritual development, in particular the development of Catholic grave culture, it is also of importance for the typological development of the grave monument. It has ensemble values as part of a larger whole that is of cultural-historical, architectural-historical and urban-planning importance. It has been preserved intact and is typologically rare.
