Inleiding
BRUG, behorende bij het boerderijcomplex 'De Griendheuvel' uit 1937 en gelegen over het voormalige gat van de Noorder Els. De in baksteen in een aan de Delftse School verwante bouwstijl uitgevoerde boogbrug geeft toegang tot het boerderijerf.
Omschrijving
De boogbrug is vervaardigd van rode baksteen en verbindt de oevers van de Noorder Els met elkaar. De brug heeft drie gemetselde rondboogvormige overspanningen (tongewelven). De grote boog in het midden wordt geflankeerd door kleinere bogen, die aan beide zijden worden geaccentueerd door een dunne uitgemetselde rand. Het brugdek heeft aan weerszijden een opengewerkte, door middel van een tandfries verlevendigde borstwering van baksteen, die in het midden hoger is en wordt afgedekt door een rollaag van staande baksteen. De hoger opgaande delen staan tussen lisenen. De landhoofden worden aan weerszijden van de brug verstevigd door gemetselde kademuren met schuine bovenrand.

De boogbrug is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en de architectuurhistorische waarde.
