Inleiding
TUINMANSWONING gebouwd in 1916 in opdracht van Hugo van Gijn, onderdeel van het complex bestaande uit de villa, tuinmanswoning en het toegangshek van de voormalige buitenplaats Gravesteijn.
NB De woning is recentelijk uitgebreid en wat betreft interieur gemoderniseerd.
Omschrijving
Tuinmanswoning vanuit vierkante plattegrond over een bouwlaag opgetrokken in baksteen in kruisverband. Het pand heeft een tentdak, gedekt met Hollandse pannen en aan alle zijden een dakkapel. De gevels zijn verlevendigd met een gestucte plint en gestucte banden ter hoogte van de bovendorpels van de vensters en onder de overstekende dakgoot.

De tuinmanswoning is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische, cultuurhistorische en ensemblewaarde,
-als onderdeel van het landgoed

GARDENER'S LODGE built in 1916 on the instructions of Hugo van Gijn, part of the complex consisting of the villa, gardener's lodge and the entrance gate of the former country estate Gravesteijn.
NB The dwelling has recently been extended and modernized as regards the interior.
Description
Gardener's lodge built on a square ground plan over one storey in brick laid in Flemish bond. The building has a hip roof, covered with Dutch tiles and on all sides a roof dormer. The facades are enlivened with a stuccoed plinth and stuccoed bands at the height of the window sills and below the overhanging roof eaves.
Valuation
The gardener's lodge is of general importance on account of its architectural-historical, cultural-historical and ensemble value,
-as part of the country estate
-on account of the spatial-functional relationship with the other complex components
-as an example of a gardener's lodge from the beginning of the twentieth century.
