The under-sills of the windows on the ground floor are continued across the entire bay. At the far left the bay is closed by a corner pilaster, which at the top transitions into a laid brick frieze. The underside of the frieze consists of shoulder-arch rolled courses that converge between the axes in a terra-cotta/brick console. The right bay is the mirror image of the left bay.
