Inleiding
WAGENSCHUUR uit 1902 in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant met kenmerken van de Overgangsstijl, behorende bij het complex Ommedijker Hoeve, gebouwd door de stichting De Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude. De wagenschuur is met de voorgevel naar het erf gelegen, dichter tegen de afwateringssloot dan de boerderij en de stal, met de noklijn in dezelfde richting.
Omschrijving
Op een rechthoekige plattegrond, in grauw bakstenen kruisverband, opgetrokken wagenschuur onder een met kruispannen gedekt mansardedak met steekkap met windveren ter afsluiting van het middenrisaliet en een houten gootlijst. In het metselwerk gele verblendstenen sierbanden en een gepleisterde plint. De symmetrische voorgevel op het noorden richting het erf heeft centraal een achtruits getoogd ijzeren stalraam en hooiluiken met drieruits bovenlicht onder steens strekken. De risaliet heeft pilasters. Aan weerszijden dubbele opgeklampte, getoogde inrijdeuren. De oostelijke kopgevel heeft drie stalramen als voor, de westelijke kopgevel twee en een deur.
Waardering
De wagenschuur is van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de door de stichting Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude gebouwde boerderij.
De wagenschuur heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de ruimtelijke, stilistische en functionele relatie met de overige complexonderdelen.

CARRIAGE SHED from 1902 in Artisanal-traditional building style with features of the Transitional style, belonging to the Ommedijker Hoeve complex, built by the foundation De Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude. The carriage shed is positioned with its front facade facing the farmyard, closer to the drainage ditch than the farmhouse and the stable, with the ridge line in the same direction.
Description
On a rectangular plan, constructed in grey brickwork in running bond, carriage shed under a mansard roof tiled with Spanish tiles featuring a centre gable with decorative bargeboard finials to close off the central projection and a wooden drip moulding. In the brickwork yellow facing brick ornamental bands and a rendered plinth. The symmetrical north-facing front facade towards the farmyard has centrally an arched iron livestock window and hay doors with three-light fanlight under brick courses. The projection has pilasters. On either side double clasped arched entrance doors. The east gable wall has three livestock windows as before, the west gable wall two and a door.
Valuation
The carriage shed is of general importance because of cultural-historical and architectural-historical value as a historically-functional component of the farmhouse built by the foundation Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude.
