Inleiding
TOEGANGSHEK uit 1902 behorende bij het complex Ommedijker Hoeve, gebouwd met steun van de stichting De Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude. Het hek bevindt zich aan de dijk en geeft toegang tot het erf.
Omschrijving
Het toegangshek bestaat uit in witte kalkzandsteen opgemetselde hekpijlers met rode banden, en lage voetingen van grauwe baksteen langs de slootkant, voorzien van ezelsruggen. Het ijzeren dubbele draaihek dat aan de pijlers is opgehangen, heeft eenvoudige spijlen met bescheiden speerpunten.
Waardering
Het hek is van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de door de Stichting Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude gebouwde boerderij.
