Omschrijving
De TUINAANLEG bestaat thans nog uit gazons, afgewisseld met slingerende grindpaden, enkele monumentale bomen en een vijverpartij. Oorspronkelijk was deze parkachtige aanleg gecombineerd met geometrisch ingevulde delen. Naar het huis toe waren enkele zichtassen gecreëerd, die nu nog herkenbaar zijn. Achter het huis bevindt zich een gemetselde keermuur en een pinetum. Binnen deze aanleg bevinden zich voorts nog een oranjerie, een tuinmanswoning en twee priëlen, die niet in de bescherming worden opgenomen.

TUINAANLEG (complexonderdeel B)
-Van tuinarchitectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de aanleg van de tuin, waarin de oorspronkelijke opzet in gemengde stijl, karakteristiek voor deze periode, nog herkenbaar is. De aanleg vormt mede door de onderdelen als het pinetum en de waterpartij een typisch voorbeeld van tuinen bij landhuizen uit de negentiende- en begin twintigste eeuw.
-Van stedenbouwkundige waarde als onderdeel van het complex, dat een belangrijk deel van het westelijke centrum van Brummen inneemt. Om het terrein heen zijn belangrijke straten aangelegd met negentiende en twintigste-eeuwse villa's en middenstandswoningen. De tuinaanleg speelt in combinatie met het landhuis vanwege grootte en fraaie verschijningsvorm een beeldbepalende rol.
-Van cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van het complex, dat een goed voorbeeld is van een buitenplaats van een welgestelde familie aan het begin van de twintigste eeuw en belangrijk is vanwege de aan het landgoed verbonden geschiedenis.

Description
The GARDEN LAYOUT currently consists of lawns, interspersed with winding gravel paths, a few monumental trees and a pond. Originally this park-like layout was combined with geometrically filled sections. Several sight lines were created towards the house, which are still recognisable now. Behind the house there is a brick retaining wall and a pinetum. Within this layout there are furthermore an orangery, a gardener's cottage and two arbours, which are not included in the protection.

GARDEN LAYOUT (complex component B)
-Of garden-architectural-historical value because of the layout of the garden, in which the original design in mixed style, characteristic for this period, is still recognisable. The layout, also by means of components such as the pinetum and the water feature, forms a typical example of gardens at country houses from the nineteenth and early twentieth century.

Important streets with nineteenth and twentieth-century villas and middle-class houses have been laid out around the grounds.
