Omschrijving
ZITBANK uit 1936, opgetrokken in een roodbruine gesinterde baksteen. De bank bestaat uit een hoge gemetselde rugleuning, afgezet met een rollaag, met in het midden een gedenksteen onder een keperboog met sluit- en aanzetstenen, met als tekst: "gewijd aan L.W. Heikens, gemeentesecretaris, 10 jan. 1903, 1 juli 1936, de burgerij van Winschoten". Op de gemetselde zitting houten planken; de zitting wordt in het midden doorbroken door een (vernieuwde) gemetselde bloembak met rondboogbeëindiging. Aan weerszijden van de bank een gemetselde bloembak met twee afgesnoten hoeken.

BENCH from 1936, constructed in reddish-brown sintered brick. The bench consists of a high masoned backrest, edged with a roll moulding, with in the middle a commemorative stone under a basket arch with closing and springing stones, with the text: "dedicated to L.W. Heikens, municipal secretary, 10 Jan. 1903, 1 July 1936, the citizens of Winschoten". On the masoned seat wooden planks; the seat is interrupted in the middle by a (renewed) masoned flower box with rounded arch termination. On either side of the bench a masoned flower box with two cut-off corners.
