Inleiding.
Romp van een MOLEN die gelegen is op een terp aan de Poldersvliet, vermoedelijk uit de late achttiende of vroege negentiende eeuw dateert en oorspronkelijk de Sint-Maartenspolder bemaalde. De molen is rond 1995 als woning hersteld, waarbij ramen en deuren zijn vervangen en de restanten van het in 1935 aangebrachte elektrische maalwerk verwijderd zijn.
Omschrijving.
De uit gele IJsselsteen opgetrokken molenromp heeft een geprofileerde deklijst en een vernieuwd plat dak, ter plaatse van de vroegere kap. Het muurwerk is ingeboet en geheel opnieuw gevoegd. Getoogde en deels van een rondboog voorziene raam- en deuropeningen. Op de begane grond twee deuren en enkele ramen met vernieuwde roedenindeling. Op de verdieping een rond 1995 vergrote opening met dubbele openslaande deuren. Onder de molen een gewelfde doorgang met rollaag en onleesbare sluitsteen met jaartal. Inwendig zijn de balklagen vernieuwd en is het muurwerk beklampt met schoon metselwerk in gele baksteen.
Waardering.
De voormalige poldermolen is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als getuigenis van de ontwikkeling van de waterstaatkundige situatie en de landbouw in het Noord-Brabantse kleigebied. Het gebouw is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van de poldermolen. Het heeft ensemblewaarde door de markante ligging in de oude Sint-Maartenspolder.

Hull of a MILL situated on a terp beside the Poldersvliet, presumably dating from the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century and originally drained the Sint-Maartenspolder. The mill was restored as a dwelling around 1995, during which windows and doors were replaced and the remains of the electric grinding machinery installed in 1935 were removed.
Description.
The mill hull built of yellow IJssel stone has a moulded drip moulding and a renewed flat roof, in the place of the former roof structure. The masonry has been repointed and entirely re-jointed. Arched and partly circular-arched window and door openings. On the ground floor two doors and some windows with renewed glazing bars. On the first floor an opening enlarged around 1995 with double French doors. Beneath the mill a vaulted passage with roller course and illegible keystone with date. Internally the beam layers have been renewed and the masonry is cladded with fair-faced brickwork in yellow brick.
Valuation.
The former polder mill is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as evidence of the development of the water-management situation and agriculture in the North Brabant clay area. The building is also of value for the typological development of the polder mill. It has ensemble value because of its striking location in the old Sint-Maartenspolder.
