TOEGANGSBRUG MET ENTREEHEK Het entreehek behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Groot en Klein Hoenlo staat op de toegangsbrug over de buitengracht. Het hek dateert in oorsprong uit de 18de eeuw, de brug is vermoedelijk 19de-eeuws. Het hek is opgebouwd uit twee natuurstenen pijlers (midden XVIII, herkomst onbekend, wellicht afkomstig van een molenwerf te Souburg), waarop wapendragende leeuwen staan. Op de pijlers staat 'groot' en 'hoenlo' (aangebracht in 1986). Tussen de pijlers een sierlijk smeedijzeren hek bestaande uit twee draaibare vleugels. De bakstenen brug heeft een houten brugdek en is voorzien van gietijzeren balustrades.

Description
ACCESS BRIDGE WITH ENTRANCE GATE The entrance gate belonging to the historical country estate Groot and Klein Hoenlo stands on the access bridge over the outer moat. The gate dates in origin from the 18th century, the bridge is presumed to be 19th-century. The gate is built up from two natural stone pillars (mid 18th century, origin unknown, possibly from a mill yard at Souburg), on which coat-of-arms bearing lions stand. On the pillars stands 'groot' and 'hoenlo' (affixed in 1986). Between the pillars an ornamental wrought-iron gate consisting of two rotating wings. The brick bridge has a wooden bridge deck and is provided with cast-iron balustrades.
