Omschrijving
LANDHUIS (huis Klein Hoenlo). Het dwarsgeplaatst landhuis in neoclassicistische stijl uit ca. 1890 met aangebouwde oudere dubbele schuur is gelegen op de historische buitenplaats Groot- en Klein Hoenlo. Het landhuis onstond uit een verbouwing van een oudere boerderij en staat bekend als het 'weduwehuis'. Het huis heeft twee verdiepingen onder een met grijze Hollandse pannen en bouletpannen gedekt schilddak, dat voorzien is van enkele dakkapellen met meerruits vensters onder platte daken en twee vierkante schoorstenen met afdekplaten. De in baksteen opgetrokken gevels zijn grotendeels bedekt met een grove pleisterlaag en worden boven de voor- en zijgevel van de villa afgesloten door een eenvoudige kroonlijst. De voorgevel (O) heeft gepleisterde hoeklisenen en een hoger middenrisaliet tussen gepleisterde lisenen onder een steekkap. In dit geveldeel is op de begane grond en op de verdieping een drieruits venster geplaatst. Links van het risaliet een vijfzijdige erker met centraal een dubbele terrasdeur en in de zijgevels vensters. Daarboven een balkon met in de gevel een dubbele balkondeur. Rechts van het risaliet een dubbele terrasdeur met luiken en op de verdieping een vierruits venster met aan weerszijden een tweelicht. In de linker zijgevel bevindt zich de entree onder een luifel met daarboven een achtruits bovenlicht. Rechts van de entree een vensterpartij onder een drieruits bovenlicht. Op de verdieping twee schuifvensters met luiken. Tegen de dakrand is een luidklok bevestigd. De rechterzijgevel bevat meerdere vensters. De noklijn van de zuidelijke schuur ligt in het verlengde van de zuidelijke zijgevel van de villa. De oostgevel van de schuur bestaat uit een halve trapgevel, de noordgevel bevat drie vensters met luiken en de westgevel heeft een beschoten geveltop, een deur met bovenlicht en een meerruits venster. De noordelijke schuur heeft een afgewolfd dak en is voorzien van een baander met aan weerszijden een rondboogvormig stalvenster en twee vensters waarvan één met luiken. De noordgevel van deze schuur heeft een dubbele terrasdeur. Het interieur van het landhuis bevindt zich nog in de oorspronkelijke staat met onder andere: een marmeren schouw met een geprofileerde boezem waarin een grisaille, een houten gesneden schouw met Delftse betegeling waarboven een gesneden boezem gedecoreerd met verschillende geweien en een eenvoudige houten gesneden schouw. Het interieur van de beide schuren is grotendeels verbouwd.

LANDHOUSE (house Klein Hoenlo). The transversely-placed neoclassical-style landhouse dating from c. 1890 with an adjoining older double barn is located on the historical country estate Groot- and Klein Hoenlo. The landhouse originated from a conversion of an older farmhouse and is known as the 'widow's house'. The house has two storeys under a hipped roof covered with grey Dutch tiles and bullet tiles, which is provided with a few roof dormers with multi-light windows under flat roofs and two square chimneys with cover plates. The brick-built facades are largely covered with a coarse render layer and are terminated above the front and side facade of the villa by a simple cornice. The front facade (E) has rendered corner pilasters and a taller central projection between rendered pilasters under a pitched cap. In this section of the facade are placed a three-light window on the ground floor and on the upper storey. To the left of the projection a five-sided bay window with centrally a double terrace door and in the side facades windows. Above it a balcony with in the facade a double balcony door. To the right of the projection a double terrace door with shutters and on the upper storey a four-light window with on either side a two-light window. In the left side facade is the entrance under a canopy with above it an eight-light fanlight. To the right of the entrance a window group under a three-light fanlight. On the upper storey two sash windows with shutters. Against the roof edge a bell is attached. The right side facade contains several windows. The ridge line of the southern barn lies in line with the southern side facade of the villa. The east facade of the barn consists of a stepped gable, the north facade contains three windows with shutters and the west facade has a boarded gable top, a door with fanlight and a multi-light window. The northern barn has a barrel vault roof and is provided with a band with on either side a rounded-arch stable window and two windows, one with shutters. The north facade of this barn has a double terrace door. The interior of the landhouse is still in the original state with among others: a marble chimney breast with a moulded mantelpiece with a grisaille in it, a wooden carved chimney breast with Delft tile cladding with above it a carved mantelpiece decorated with various antlers and a simple wooden carved chimney breast. The interior of both barns has largely been converted.
