The magazine built within the rampart is constructed in Flemish bond brick with remains of cut jointing and has at the top a finish consisting of a roll moulding which is closed at the left and right corners with a natural stone block. The symmetrically arranged facade has a broad central field with angular finish and slightly recessed side sections with a cemented plinth rising with ground level. Above the central entrance with a clamp door in iron hinges, lies a slot and a small round opening. To the left and right lie segment-shaped closed shutters and two, respectively three vertical slots above one another. All these openings are framed with chamfered natural stone. Of the original iron doors only those of the round and the segment arch openings remain. Just above street level lie four square openings, one of which has the iron door. Behind the entrance originally lay a second door to the transverse passage in the rectangular volume lying parallel to the facade, in which perpendicular to the facade three spaces covered with barrel vaults lie. The middle - central - space is broader and shorter due to the preceding transverse passage which provides access to both side spaces.
