Hoofdgraaf 1, Woudrichem (onderdeel 2)
Inleiding
De DWARSDEELSCHUUR daterend uit het vierde kwart van de negentiende eeuw is gebouwd in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant. Zij ligt met de nokrichting haaks op de Neer Andelseweg waar een brugje met ijzeren hek waarop de naam IN DEN DOORN toegang geeft tot de inrijweg naar het erf.
Omschrijving
De gerabatte dwarsdeelschuur onder zadeldak is aan de erfzijde gedekt met riet, aan de veldzijde met zwarte oud-Hollandse pannen, evenals de aanbouw onder lessenaardak. De schuur is gebouwd op een lage bakstenen sokkel. De houten delen aan het erf zijn groen, die aan de straat zwart. Deze dwarsgevel wordt beëindigd met een makelaar en eenzijdige windveer langs het dakdeel met pannen. In de gevel bevinden zich verder een inloopdeur aan ijzeren gehengen, een zesruiter, een ongedeeld en een halfrond raam. Aan het erf ligt tussen hoge inrijschuifdeuren met staande zesruiters en de inloopdeur een horizontale zesruiter. Verder twee paar tweedelige opgeklampte deuren aan ijzeren gehengen. In de dwarsgevel achter liggen twee negenruits vensters, een inloopdeur en een zolderluik. De aanbouw onder lessenaardak is opgetrokken in kruisverband machinale baksteen. Hierin liggen drie recht afgesloten vensters met meerroedenverdeling en een deur. Aan de dakvoet een zinken goot op beugels.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen belang. Zij heeft cultuurhistorische waarde vanwege de ontwikkeling van de landbouw in de streek. De schuur heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een eenvoudige traditionele ambachtelijke bouwtrant. Zij heeft ensemblewaarde als essentieel onderdeel van een harmonisch geheel verder bestaand uit het vrijstaande woonhuis, erf en tuin. De schuur is gaaf bewaard gebleven en bijzonder zeldzaam.

Introduction
The TRANSVERSE-PARTITION BARN dating from the fourth quarter of the nineteenth century is built in traditional craft construction manner. It lies with the ridge direction perpendicular to the Neer Andelseweg where a footbridge with iron gate bearing the name IN DEN DOORN provides access to the entrance drive to the farmyard.
Description
The rendered transverse-partition barn under gabled roof is covered on the farmyard side with thatch, on the field side with black old-Dutch tiles, as is the outbuilding under lean-to roof. The barn is built on a low brick base. The timber parts on the farmyard side are green, those facing the street black. This transverse façade is terminated with a makelaar and one-sided windbraces along the roof part with tiles. In the façade are further located an inswinging door on iron hinges, a six-light window, an undivided and a semi-circular window. On the farmyard side between high inward-sliding barn doors with standing six-light windows and the inswinging door lies a horizontal six-light window. Further two pairs of two-part clamped doors on iron hinges. In the transverse façade behind lie two nine-light windows, an inswinging door and a loft hatch. The outbuilding under lean-to roof is constructed in cross bond machine-made brick. Therein lie three straight-edged windows with multi-glazing bars and a door. At the roof edge a zinc gutter on brackets.
Valuation
The barn is of general interest. It has cultural-historical value because of the development of agriculture in the region. The barn has architectural-historical value as an example of simple traditional craft construction manner. It has ensemble value as an essential component of a harmonious whole further consisting of the detached dwelling, farmyard and garden.
