Inleiding
De BOERDERIJ van het langgeveltype is gelegen langs de noordelijke zijde van de St. Lambertusstraat, de oost-west gerichte hoofdstraat van Cromvoirt. Deze nederzetting ten westen van Vught had een hoofdzakelijk agrarische bestemming, die nog steeds goed herkenbaar is. Net als het merendeel van de boerderijen langs de St. Lambertusstraat is de boerderij evenwijdig aan deze hoofdweg gelegen. De langevelboerderij, die is opgetrokken in een Traditioneel-Ambachtelijke bouwstijl, heeft een oudere kern: een steen in de korte oostelijke gevel dateert deze op 1752. De huidige voorgevel van de boerderij is van latere bouwdatum: in deze gevel is een baksteen met het jaartal 1877 aangebracht. Omschrijving
De langgevelboerderij heeft een globaal rechthoekige plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder een zadeldak met schild- en wolfseinde, gedekt met riet en nokpannen. Boven de oostelijke gevel en boven de brandmuur een schoorsteen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in baksteen, de oudere oostelijke gevel in gewitte ijsselsteen. Ook de plint van het gebouw is gewit. De ingangspartij van het woonhuis bevindt zich in de lange zuidelijke gevel en bestaat uit een eenvoudige houten opgeklampte deur met tweeruits bovenlicht. Rechts hiervan één, links hiervan twee recht gesloten vensters met zesruits schuifraam en houten luiken. In het dakschild boven de ingang een recentelijk aangebracht dakvenster. Links van het woonhuis het omstreeks 1930 vernieuwde stalgedeelte. De toegang tot de stal wordt gevormd door een opgeklampte houten plankendeur, met rechts hiervan een klein stalvenster. Boven de staldeur een dakkapel met hooiluik. Geheel links voor de stalgevel een eenlaags houten aanbouw. De westelijke korte stalgevel is geheel met hout betimmerd. De korte oostelijke gevel dateert uit de 18e eeuw: op een baksteen is het bouwjaar 1752 aangegeven. Ter hoogte van de voorkamer een klein venster met tweeruits raam. Vlak onder de dakrand rechts in deze gevel twee kleine vensters met vierruits ramen. Geheel rechts is een klein kelderraam aange-bracht. Aan de achterzijde van het woonhuis een eenlaags aanbouw onder lessenaardak.
Waardering
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. De boerderij bezit cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociaal-economische ontwikkeling en als illustratie van de typologische ontwikkeling van de langgevelboerderij van het midden van de 18de eeuw tot circa 1930. De boerderij bezit ensemblewaarde, als essentieel onderdeel van een reeks waardevolle oude boerderijen binnen de karakteristieke langgerekte nederzettingsstructuur van Cromvoirt. Ook de ligging van de boerderij, evenwijdig aan de oost-west gerichte hoofdstraat is typerend voor de oudere boerderijen en woonhuizen in deze nederzetting. The FARMHOUSE of the long-facade type is located along the northern side of the St. Lambertusstraat, the east-west oriented main street of Cromvoirt. This settlement to the west of Vught had primarily an agricultural purpose, which is still clearly recognizable. Like the majority of the farmhouses along the St. Lambertusstraat, the farmhouse is situated parallel to this main road. The long-facade farmhouse, which is constructed in a Traditional-Craft building style, has an older core: a brick in the short eastern facade dates this to 1752. The current front facade of the farmhouse is of later construction date: in this facade a brick with the year 1877 has been placed. Around 1930 the stall section of the long-facade farmhouse was entirely renovated.
Description
The long-facade farmhouse has a roughly rectangular floor plan and has one storey under a gabled roof with hipped and half-hipped ends, covered with thatch and ridge tiles. Above the eastern facade and above the party wall a chimney. The facades are constructed in brick, the older eastern facade in whitewashed Ijsselsteen. Also the plinth of the building is whitewashed. The entrance section of the dwelling is located in the long southern facade and consists of a simple wooden nailed-on door with two-pane fanlight. To the right of this one, to the left of this two straight-closed windows with six-pane sash window and wooden shutters. In the roof panel above the entrance a recently installed roof window. The farmhouse possesses cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a socio-economic development and as an illustration of the typological development of the long-facade farmhouse from the middle of the 18th century to circa 1930. The farmhouse possesses ensemble value, as an essential component of a series of valuable old farmhouses within the characteristic elongated settlement structure of Cromvoirt. Also the location of the farmhouse, parallel to the east-west oriented main street is typical of the older farmhouses and dwellings in this settlement. The farmhouse is finally of importance because of the integrity of its exterior.
