Omschrijving
Inleiding.
HERENHUIS, gebouwd circa 1880 in Eclectische stijl. Nu in gebruik als kantoor (begane grond en verdieping zijn onafhankelijk van elkaar in gebruik). Tegen de achterzijde is tussen 1980 en 1990 een bouwmassa toegevoegd die evenhoog als de hoofdmassa is maar breder. Dit gedeelte staat langs een stuk van de rechterzijgevel, hierin is de ingang naar de verdieping gemaakt. Deze aanbouw is niet beschermd.
Omschrijving.
Tweelaags huis op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een schilddak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. De gepleisterde geblokte voorgevel is vijf traveeën breed en symmetrisch opgezet. De gevel wordt geleed door lisenen, op de begane grond geblokt, op de verdieping uitgevoerd met verticale velden. Op de donker geschilderde plint zijn in reliëf velden aangegeven. Het portiek ligt tussen geblokte lisenen. De deur is voorzien van een getoogd bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden van de deur zijn getoogde T-ramen aangebracht. Boven de portiek en ramen zijn gestucte ornamenten geplaatst, bij de ramen in gebroken gebogen frontons. Op de verdieping ligt boven de portiek een rechthoekig balkon met openslaande deuren, op dekoratieve consoles, afgewerkt met een hek. Aan weerszijden van het balkon bevinden zich ramen als op de begane grond, hier voorzien van kuiven in eenvoudige gepleisterde omlijstingen.
Attiek met ovale lichten, voorzien van roosters. Daarboven een gootlijst op dekoratieve consoles met leeuwenkoppen, bekroond door een balustrade. In het midden van de gevel een dakkapel met topgeveltje en drie lichtopeningen. De bakstenen zijgevels zijn blind uitgevoerd.
De achtergevel is in het interieur van de uitbreiding zichtbaar gebleven. De oorspronkelijke ramen zijn gehandhaafd. In het interieur is de indeling in de oude vorm bewaard gebleven. Op de begane grond bevindt zich een gang die het pand doorsnijdt. Rechts daarvan, in het midden een trap.
Waardering.
Het pand is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de regio en vanwege de typologische ontwikkeling van het plattelandsherenhuis. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde wegens ornamentiek, het materiaalgebruik en de evenwichtige gevelcompositie. Het is uitwendig gaaf bewaard gebleven.

Against the rear, between 1980 and 1990 a building mass was added which is as high as the main mass but wider. This section runs along a section of the right side gable, in which the entrance to the first floor has been made. This extension is not protected.
Description.
Two-storey house on a rectangular floor plan under a hipped roof of which the ridge runs parallel to the street. The plastered and blocked front facade is five bays wide and symmetrically laid out. The facade is articulated by pilasters, on the ground floor blocked, on the first floor executed with vertical panels. On the dark painted plinth are relief panels indicated. The portico lies between blocked pilasters. The door is provided with an arched fanlight. On either side of the door are arched T-windows. Above the portico and windows are stucco ornaments placed, at the windows in broken curved pediments. On the first floor above the portico lies a rectangular balcony with French doors, on decorative consoles, finished with railings. On either side of the balcony are windows as on the ground floor, here provided with hoods in simple plastered frames.
Attic with oval lights, provided with grilles. Above this a drip moulding on decorative consoles with lion heads, crowned by a balustrade. In the centre of the facade a roof dormer with a stepped gable and three light openings. The brick side gables are executed blind.
The rear facade has remained visible in the interior of the extension. The original windows have been retained. In the interior the layout in the original form has been preserved. On the ground floor there is a corridor which runs through the building. To the right of this, in the centre a staircase.
Valuation.
The building is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as an expression of the socio-economic development of the region and because of the typological development of the rural manor house. It has architectural-historical value because of the ornamentation, the use of materials and the balanced facade composition. It has been preserved outwardly in good condition.
