Inleiding
DUIVENTIL, behorende tot de buitenplaats "Schoonoord", waarschijnlijk geplaatst in 1930 naar het ontwerp van J. van Erven Dorens, gezien de uitvoering in dezelfde stijl en hetzelfde materiaal als het door hem ontworpen landhuis met aangebouwde dienstwoning in de Engelse landhuisstijl. De duiventil is geplaatst aan de zuidzijde van het gazon, bij de tuinschuur.
Omschrijving
Kleine vierkante duiventil in rabat op schoren, geplaatst op een basement van rustica en afgesloten door een ver overstekend rieten kegeldak.
Waardering
De duiventil is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel, behorende bij het landhuis met aangebouwde dienstwoning uit 1930 naar het ontwerp van J. van Erven Dorens op de buitenplaats "Schoonoord".
