Inleiding
PRIEEL "De Rose Wees" (Locannehuisje), behorende tot de buitenplaats "Schoonoord", omstreeks 1925 gebouwd in op Italiaanse voorbeelden geïnspireerde neo-classicistische trant. Het prieel is gesitueerd aan de zuidzijde van de rechthoekige kavel, aan het einde en aan de buitenzijde van de zuidelijke beukenlaan met uitzicht over de naastgelegen polder.
Omschrijving
Het prieel is opgetrokken op een vierkante plattegrond en heeft roze gepleisterde gevels onder een flauw hellend tentdak met fors overstek, gedekt met rode Hollandse pannen. De zuid- en westgevel bevat een opening, bestaande uit twee bogen op zuilen en halfzuilen met Korinthische kapitelen. Alle zuilen en halfzuilen staan op een geprofileerde band. De noordgevel bevat in de rechter boog een boogvormige houten deur, terwijl de linker boog dichtgepleisterd is. De bogen aan de oostzijde zijn eveneens dichtgepleisterd. Op de grond ligt een Italiaanse mozaïekvloer met een patroon van druiventrossen en druivenbladeren.

SUMMER HOUSE "De Rose Wees" (Locannehuisje), belonging to the country estate "Schoonoord", built around 1925 in a neo-classical style inspired by Italian examples. The summer house is situated on the south side of the rectangular plot, at the end and outside the southern beech tree avenue with a view over the adjacent polder.
Description
The summer house is built on a square ground plan and has pink rendered gables under a gently sloping pitched roof with substantial overhang, covered with red Dutch tiles. The south and west gable contain an opening, consisting of two arches on columns and pilasters with Corinthian capitals. All columns and pilasters stand on a moulded band. The north gable contains an arched wooden door in the right arch, while the left arch is rendered closed. The arches on the east side are likewise rendered closed. On the ground lies an Italian mosaic floor with a pattern of grape bunches and grape leaves.
