Inleiding
Blok van vijf DIENSTWONINGEN, als onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats "Boekesteyn", gebouwd rond 1900 in eenvoudige ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant. De woningen werden gebouwd voor de plaatswerkers van de buitenplaatsen Boekesteyn en Bambergen. Het blok is vrijstaand gesitueerd aan de westzijde van het Noordereinde tussen de straatweg en de 's-Gravelandse vaart, tegenover de buitenplaatsen, als onderdeel van het beschermde dorpsgezicht van 's-Graveland.
Omschrijving
Blok van vijf dienstwoningen, opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond met verschillende aanbouwen aan de achterzijde. De woningen tellen één bouwlaag onder doorlopend zadeldak met de noklijn evenwijdig aan de weg, bedekt met overwegend gesmoorde Hollandse pannen en twee schoorstenen op de nok. Het zadeldak loopt aan de westzijde geknikt verder door.
De voorgevel (O) is gesausd (oorspronkelijk gepleisterd) in natuursteenpatroon. De T-schuifvensters zijn voorzien van luiken. De deuren bevinden zich onder bovenlicht. Block of five SERVICE DWELLINGS, as part of the historic country estate "Boekesteyn", built around 1900 in simple artisanal-traditional building style. Block of five service dwellings, erected on a rectangular plan with various outbuildings at the rear. The dwellings comprise one storey under a continuous gabled roof with the ridge parallel to the road, covered predominantly with damped Dutch tiles and two chimney stacks on the ridge.
