TUINHUISJE uit 1926 in een bij de Engelse Landhuisstijl van de villa 'Westerwolde' passende ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant, gebouwd naar ontwerp van de architect J.W. Hanrath.
Houten huisje op een gemetselde plint, over één bouwlaag opgetrokken op een winkelhaakvormige plattegrond onder rieten schilddaken waarvan de noklijnen loodrecht op elkaar aansluiten. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in donkerbruine gepotdekselde houten delen en voorzien van deels gekoppelde vensters en glasdeuren met blank glas-in-lood. Rechts in het terugliggende deel van de voorgevel (O) de horizontaal gedeelde houten toegangsdeur en in het risalerende geveldeel rechts een dubbele glasdeur tussen twee vensters.

Het houten tuinhuisje uit 1926 is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als grotendeels gaaf bij de villa 'Westerwolde' behorend tuinhuisje en vanwege de stilistische en historisch functionele relatie met de villa.

GARDEN HOUSE from 1926 in a craft-traditional building tradition in keeping with the English Country House style of villa 'Westerwolde', built to the design of architect J.W. Hanrath.
Wooden house on a brick plinth, constructed over one storey on an L-shaped plan under thatched hipped roofs with ridge lines at right angles to each other. The facades are constructed in dark brown rendered wooden sections and provided with partly coupled windows and glass doors with plain leaded glass. To the right in the recessed part of the front facade (E) the horizontally divided wooden access door and in the projecting facade section to the right a double glass door between two windows.
Valuation
The wooden garden house from 1926 is of general importance for its architectural and cultural-historical value as a largely intact garden house belonging to villa 'Westerwolde' and for its stylistic and historic functional relationship with the villa.
