Omschrijving
De diepe, rechthoekige TUIN omvat een stelsel van paden slingerend door lobvormige gazons en perken. Deze gazons en de perken zijn gevuld met diverse struiken en boomgroepen. De paden lagen in de oorspronkelijke situatie dieper dan de perken en de perken waren oorspronkelijk omzoomd door randen van baksteen; deze zijn nog gedeeltelijk aanwezig. De paden zijn wisselend van breedte; zo worden ze breder in de richting van een kruispunt van paden of bij een bijzondere boom. The deep, rectangular GARDEN comprises a system of paths winding through lobed lawns and beds. These lawns and beds are filled with various shrubs and tree groups. The paths lay deeper than the beds in the original situation and the beds were originally edged with borders of brick; these are still partially present. The paths vary in width; they become wider in the direction of a path intersection or near a special tree. Various special shrub and tree species are used in the garden. The trees are either planted in groups in the beds or as solitary specimens in the grass areas. The tree groups consist among others of elm, chestnut, linden, beech and plane trees. Among the various shrubs are also yew, holly and box which are presumably added later. Deciduous trees such as the red horse-chestnut and the silver linden are placed mainly towards the front of the garden.
