PORTIERSWONING ACHTERHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Offem. Haaks op de Nachtegaalslaan, met de voorgevel naar het zuiden gekeerd, staat een (geel)gepleisterde dienstwoning uit 1862-1863. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken eenlaagse woonhuis met grijze plint is één beuk diep en drie traveeën breed met op de hoeken lisenen van blokwerk en onder een met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met overstek voorzien van windveren en gevelmakelaar. De voorgevel heeft centraal een middenrisaliet doorlopend tot en met de eerste verdieping en beëindigd door een steekkapje; in de risaliet, die gedecoreerd is met geblokte hoeklisenen, de toegangsdeur met bovenlicht geplaatst in een portaal, daarboven een rondboogvenster met ruitvormige roedenverdeling en een smal ijzeren balkonnetje op consoles. Aan weerszijden houten openslaande vensters met luiken en bovenlichten met roedenverdeling; zijgevels ijzeren rozetvensters met roeden. Tegen de achtergevel is een eenlaagse uitbouw onder lessenaarsdak

GATEKEEPER'S COTTAGE BACK GATE belonging to the country estate Offem. At right angles to the Nachtegaalslaan, with the front facade facing south, stands a (yellow) plastered servants' dwelling from 1862-1863. The single-storey dwelling built on a rectangular ground plan with grey plinth is one bay deep and three bays wide with pilasters of blockwork on the corners and under a gabled roof covered with smothered improved Dutch tiles with overhang provided with wind braces and roof bracket. The front facade has centrally a middle risalit extending up through the upper storey and terminated by a pitched-roof gable; in the risalit, which is decorated with blocked corner pilasters, the entrance door with fanlight positioned in a portico, above it a semicircular window with lozenge-shaped glazing bar division and a narrow iron balcony on consoles. On either side wooden casement windows with shutters and fanlights with glazing bar division; side facades iron rose windows with glazing bars.
